Maximoff wanted to prowl the dark woods of Earth in search of a fabled werewolf after reading an exciting comic about the energy of extra-human powers like teleportation and telekinesis. However, he'd become somewhat vain about these strange images of nonhuman intelligence, which drew him to dangerous speeds of physique-dimensions. Nevertheless, Maximoff remained undaunted in this dark woods quest on Earth.

MAXIMOFF: I shall find this werewolf of myth in this strange forest, and perhaps I'll cast the right tones of detention!

Fortunately, a wise nerdist of telepathy-studies at Dartmouth knew of Maximoff's strange boast after reading it on a cyber-blog and deciding to follow him into the very-same dark woods so he'd be able to post a more religious idea about the dangers in indulging in social-media era powers and portraits!

MAXIMOFF: You want me to play you in cyber-chess instead of searching for this werewolf in the dark woods, you nerd?
AMLAN SATAN (Dartmouth-Nerdist): You bet, Maximoff; that werewolf may very-well be out there, and in that case, is Hell.

MAXIMOFF: What's so daring about cyber-chess, anyways, Dr. Satan?
AMLAN SATAN (Dartmouth-Nerdist): Well, Maximoff --- when you draw a stalemate/draw in chess, you erect mind-balance!

MAXIMOFF: Mind balance, doc?
AMLAN SATAN (Dartmouth-Nerdist): Yea, a 'balance' of the mind indicates a conscious-IQ for electric-disorientation.

Maximoff was ironically most pleased with Dr. Satan's ideation of using mind-power to harness a chess-like imagery regarding controls of will-power and therefore 'fantastic' high-art. However, he remained vainly undeterred (completely) and opted to wander into the dark woods anyways...and encountered the eerie werewolf (after all)...and disappeared from human society (completely).

PSYCHOLOGY (Fanzine): So, you'd hoped Maximoff would end up in a 'Duke'-uniform for controlled sportsmanship highness?

AMLAN SATAN: Yes; but I don't know what happened to him after he became my 'fantastic' chess-stalemate pupil in America!

PSYCHOLOGY (Fanzine): Why'd you think/believe that sports-idea would save Maximoff from a 'wolf' omen?
AMLAN SATAN: Well...there's power in sportsmanship...a strange choreography for the mind's divine senses of willed-power.

DIARY-ENTRY (Maximoff): Finally, I'm a true werewolf, deep in these woods, 'converted' by the beast who transformed me.
