The Air Detective(s)A Story by Abishai100A 'stranger' outside an airport prompts this narrated (unnamed narrator!) portrait of a Euro-company's 'visions' of Earth's dial(s).
A portrait of airport-fantasy referencing a 'sample' real-life airline (KLM) and loosely-inspired by the funny transit-adventure comedy Airplane (Robert Hays). Thanks for reading,
DISCLAIMER: I've no 'official' ties to the sampled airline-company (Europe) mentioned in this work of traffic-journalism and present this only as a 'casting' of social-traffic design(s). ----
==== The world of KLM-air was filled with TV-friendly images/art characterizing the splendors and also the securities of modern transit/travel contributing to tourism of good notes, friends. That's what this tale is all about, an Earth-fable. ![]() There'd been plenty of film in the movie-machine about airplanes, pilots, and transit-intrigue, and the media-era captured this investment by many-a-figure regarding the profit-indexes of transit-travel consciousness advertising, making magazines and movie market images loaded for those intrigued by the contours between civilians and social-figures 'equally' engaged in air-travel/airlines for journals. ![]() Well, KLM, based in Europe, boasted their own dashing colors/uniforms for their splendid/skilled pilots and flight-attendants/staff, making their base-airport (Amsterdam) quite the thing for transit-amenities. This was a company for both fashion-design and machinery-comfort, yes (indeed!). ![]() Well, a looney-toonie named 'Storm-Shadow' had been lurking around the base-airport aforementioned (Amsterdam), costumed/performing as a special 'figure' of comedy and err. This man, a man of the stage, arranged a contract-theater right outside the airport-entrance where he'd greet incoming travelers/pilots claiming the airport was 'well-secured' from all post-9/11 threats/fears regarding in-flight terrors. However, many-a KLM pilot/flight-attendant wondered if 'Storm-Shadow' was somehow a man of danger and not simple theater! ![]() HANK (Pilot): I was in Amsterdam enjoying hot creamy-coffee and started to laugh about 'Storm-Shadow' but felt angst when I started taking photos of pedestrian-thoroughfare, wondering if they'd be 'truly' sharing my state-of-play and not thinking (somewhat like me!) that I was 'uneasy' this theater-man was some kind of James Bond...or something more complicating (hmm). ![]() ROBBEN (Pilot): I've been in Europe all-my-life and enjoy the honors/laurels of being a Euro-pilot for the Dutch company and wonder seriously about 'Storm-Shadow' and his odd-job antics outside the theater-entrance as a man of performance and started writing in a journal, "What if he's a double-agent or a man working as some kind of conspiracy-advocate for street-journalists in Amsterdam?" ![]() Of course, no one's really concerned about 'Storm-Shadow' as all operations at the KLM base-airport continue without 'hitch' or worry, and the flyers/ads for the Dutch-company continue to proliferate and offer flowery for the markets of real transit-securities/amenity dollars (hmm). ![]() DANICA (Flight-Attendant): I wonder about this guy outside the airport, and I walk-by in my uniform, he smiles, but worry. ![]() ARCEE (Flight-Attendant): Well, it's most-likely simply a 'funny-man' like Carrott-Top; I said on social-media, "Girls like him!" ![]() STORM-SHADOW: Of course, I'm 'fighting' for alien-rights/IQ and imagination of Earth-distance; for that high-transit (moon!). ![]() The point of this offbeat Earth-fable is if you happen to be in this base-airport (Europe) and notice this man-of-performance, you might start to wonder about the 'quality' of human activity up-in-the-air in this post-9/11 era of commercial traffic securities...dreamcatchers!
