Catholic Amlan Satan prepared for his moon-mission for NASA and when he encountered a strange spying Martian hiding in the lunar caverns seeking to challenge mankind in stalemate-chess for engineering-ambition justification for sovereignty warrants, he knew he'd become an Earth-sciences diplomat.

DIARY: After achieving the wonderful stalemate-condition (chess) against the Martian 'Endymion' on the moon, I can run!

ENDYMION: Damn; seems you've warranted a non-invasion compact for Earth and my self-exile with stalemate-cinema; damn.

When Satan returned to Earth he got a hero's parade for DC and began to serve as a retired cyber-homeschooling comic-book city-vigilantism sketch-doodlers for kindergarten-kids seeking cyber-education and finding kid-friendly translations of Earthling-storytelling. Satan was now the 'dollar' diplomat.
