Catholic US-citizen Amlan Satan was a natural warrior and veteran of a major United States war in the new millennium and came home young as a decorated man of valor and began playing Facebook-chess and making social-media blogs when he was contacted by a strange alien race called the Borg.

SATAN: What's your agenda, Borg?
BORG: We wish to assimilate all sentient-beings into our labs for study!
SATAN: Are you using the veil of diplomacy-science(s) for abductions?
BORG: Yes!
SATAN: What's the rationale for collection of conscious souls in forced enclosure(s)?
BORG: All sentient-beings serve our universal agenda for collections/study!
SATAN: This study is limited, since only your species takes notes on observed experiences of the oppressed.
BORG: The experiences of the oppressed reveal responses/adaptations from our perspective only!
SATAN: This 'limited perspective' on the responses of other species suggests your only 'intent' is to imprison.
BORG: Yes!
SATAN: Well, perhaps one of your 'caged-birds' may escape/sing of the glories of fleeing from your laboratory!
BORG: Escape is not possible...resistance is futile.
SATAN: Not necessarily...for if a species drew a stalemate-chess against one of your diplomats, there'd be conceived parity!
BORG: Yes, but stalemate-chess is never guaranteed.
SATAN: True; but it's never-ever inconceivable, either.
BORG: You've obtained a 'clever' sovereignty for your species with this calculated argumentation; congrats; state demands.
SATAN: Well...we humans seek sovereign space for competition/cooperation by our own terms and self-willed interest(s).
BORG: In this case, Earth shall be 'designated' as a special 'dominion' for self-willed free-space, exempt from our agenda!
SATAN: Excellence...you Borg look truly strange...like wiry cyborgs or humanoid bugs.

BORG: Yes!

Amlan Satan became an avid-fan of chess after this achieved triumph over the Borg and wrote a Pulitzer-novel about chess-IQ called Species-Castling (Random House). He was gifted a special heroism movie-themed chess-set and used it to challenge his friends after opening a baseball-cards shop in New England (United States). It became a very unusual species success-fable of modern time!
