Point Break: X-Men

Will some interceptor-cool among the X-Men during conflict generate the 'right-stuff' regarding conscious dreamcatchers?

The band of mutant superhumans known as the uncanny X-Men were busy choreographing their special misadventures on Earth/Mars while the two captain-adversaries, male/female, Phoenix (wielder of fire-energy) and Magneto (wielder of magnetism) were an on-off rivalry and sometimes lover-pair. This was a 'point-break' in the metaphysics of competitive thinking in the universe, and it made for cool fan-art too.

Gambit was the wild-card in this equation, since he'd made special fortunes with baseball-cards on Earth and came to be known as a fortunes-hunter and capitalism-chessmaster and wanted to use this skill to leverage the dark axes of confusing uncertainty between Phoenix-Magneto by offering himself as Phoenix' guardian-brother while covertly persuading Magneto to become more a lover than a rival, revealing himself simultaneously to be a 'nerdist' of negotiations-paintings.

GAMBIT: If I gift Magneto's son (Damian) a special baseball World-Series cards-set (Upper-Deck), he'll be peaceful/romantic for Phoenix (Damian's mother), and this shall forge a 'cool' competition-drying romanticism between the two (ha!).

MAGNETO: Me thinks this 'cool' wild-card X-Men mutant Gambit is seeking to use chess to match my wits/intention(s).

However, because Magento wouldn't be played a fool, Gambit would have to find a more creative way to draw Phoenix closer to Magneto and create universe-peace...and sanity. He therefore cajoled his sister Phoenix to participate in a special competition-event in Reno (USA) as a showgirl, disguised, and Magneto would discover his newfound interests for her while realizing she'd become a handmaiden for luxuries. This would help them erase their enmity towards each other and think more of the 'flower' of religious comforts!

PHOENIX: Unless I've been 'tricked' by a wily wild-card (Gambit), I just might accept this 'Cleopatra-turn' for life-chess.

Meanwhile, Gambit organized a special blood-diamond operations unit in Reno and performed a wily gem-swap of terrorism-tracked conflict-zone gems from the Reno Dartmouth Bank (RDB) and created local headlines about turbulence regarding capitalism-insanity which 'moved' Magneto/Phoenix to think more about the 'sanity' of seeking a more 'dutiful' life as non-rivals and as peaceful lovers (like in a movie!).

GAMBIT: Retired now as a chess-teacher in Lake Tahoe, I shall think more fondly even (now!) of the Phoenix-Magneto class.

Gambit even purchased for their son (Damian) a set of beautiful fashion shirts for the summertime to further encourage the two once rival X-Men super-mutants to ponder the sanity of a life of peace over war and one of marriage over capitalism-driven powers-pyramids (ha)!

GAMBIT: All this peace-and-cool makes me (sometimes) wonder if there's still a 'real' darkness lurking in the 'bank' of Earth.

Thus, the story ends concerning Gambit's 'covert-knighthood' and despite his retirement he continued to foster his special 'educational' fascination with an ongoing curiosity about the composition of war-depression.
