On the idyllic autumn-color campus of an iconic New England campus, a time-traveling Martian incendiary named Endymion hoped to challenge an 'academic' chess-club faculty-advisor/professor named Amlan Satan for a species-contest about the temperance/will required to hoist 'stalemate-chess' as a special diplomacy platform for non-invasion compacts.

ENDYMION: We shall see if this Earth-prince/professor (Amlan Satan) can draw this stalemate-chess achievement for us.

AMLAN SATAN: Stalemate-chess is a tie/draw in chess-strategy board-game play and requires absolute piece-storytelling!

Now, Endymion was a 'dragon' being right out of the characterization-page of some sci-fi/fantasy noir comic/cinema, while Amlan Satan was a prototypical social-media loving chess-club promoter on the New England Ivy-campus and liked ideations of using stalemate-chess to draw strategy-parallel diagrams regarding the piece-position movement(s) that casted 'ideal' forms of modern Earth-society cyber-mosaics for species-consciousness direction (wow).

AMLAN SATAN: Excellence; it seems our stalemate-chess compact for sovereign-diplomacy reveals 'Dartmouth' splendor.

Chess was a major media-component during the Cold War events surrounding the promotion of the chess-rivalry between American chess-champion Bobby Fischer and Soviet chess-champion Boris Spassky, and ideations of how stalemate-chess (tie/draw/no-win decision!) could create species-compacts for sovereign diplomacy regarding 'acknowledged' or shared IQ-conversation(s). In other words, Endymion/Satan effectively casted a special 'socialized' form of game-theory diplomacy landscape.

The Martian-invader (Endymion) hoped to cast a similar 'stalemate-chess' diagram with 'Earth-prince'/professor Amlan Satan for a 'media-revival' in what made chess a sort of 'diadem' for species-consciousness regarding the contour-lines of intelligence-definition (wow).
