A cool-customer (vigilante) named 'Cobra' tracks a hellraiser in Chicago (Night-Slasher) with 'chess-IQ' ideations of 'cool' difference.

A fun Halloween-time vigilantism tale inspired loosely by the iconic urban-paranoia film Cobra (Sylvester Stallone), which I hope you like,

Welcome to the challenging if 'dark' Windy-City (Chicago) of the Bulls-Bears markets/media, where the vigilance-vigilante known simply/eerily as 'Cobra' prowls to track the new serial-killer with a decapitating signature and who refers to himself as the Night-Slasher, willed to make the US-city a place of fear(s).

COBRA (Facebook-chess): I like playing against citizenry of the Windy-City (cyber-chess); Night-Slasher's recruiting minions!

NIGHT-SLASHER: You can't win; no one can; 9/11 was a 'taste' of American fire; I challenge even this 'clever' Cobra for cinema.

It was rumored on social-media that this 'Cobra' was actually/ironically some Ivy-grad with an interest in comics-art in Chicago and lived off princely-inherited fortune(s) while 'doubling' as a masked vigilante at night, complete with reoriented/crafted homemade weapons of a rather nifty signature. He'd become like a social-media 'diplomat' of urban comic books (ha).

Now, the Night-Slasher was stalking a lovely Eastern fashion-designer named Esha who'd been designing a special Indian saree-fashions 'enterprise' in the challenging if 'dark' Windy-City of the Bulls-Bears markets/media, and she called the Cobra, hoping that both she and her saree-models would be secured in this post-9/11 era of social-media IQ oriented 'chess-stalemate' optimism regarding commerce-driven antiterrorism fanzine/photography (wow).

COBRA: Alright, freak; if you can draw a stalemate-chess against me on social-media, you've got to confess to just 1 murder.

NIGHT-SLASHER: Just 1 bloody-murder; I'll simply use a queen-knight offensive suffocation against you with excellence!

COBRA: How'd you feel if I used a 'quickie' rook-bishop lever to counter the offensive-IQ with board-cornering, eh?
NIGHT-SLASHER: Damn!

Not only did our 'valiant' Cobra-man subvert the Night-Slasher on public social-media chess-play, with audiences 'chuckling' at the prospect(s) that the 'real' vigilante did (in fact!) undermine the serial-killer's Chicago 'aura' online but also lured the killer to the subway-metro system and promised him to greet him in some 'clever' median-point, guessing correctly the psycho-freak would be hiding and waiting by a hot-dog restaurant area metro-stop/station (wow).

THE POST: How'd you do all this Cobra-friend?
COBRA: I had this 'fantastic' gun --- and a beautiful mind (ha).

NIGHT-SLASHER: I'll never-ever again play chess, especially in this damned city of America (wow).

Cobra got some cool media-photos for his new cyber-blog about the 'cool' role that modern media-figures would play in the post-9/11 era 'revelations' of sportsmanship-drawn urban governance...and 'cool' capitalism (ha).

The hero-man toasted this achievement in the Windy-City with a cool visit to the very-same hot-dog dive where he'd been able to net the Night-Slasher who was eventually sentenced to life (without parole-hearing!) in Chicago prison.

COBRA: Who doesn't appreciate a stalemate-relish frank, right?

NIGHT-SLASHER: I may've been awful; but I was only caught by a man of chess-miracle(s)...wow.
