Diary of what makes the sport of bowling so American...or discreet!

A bowling-diary inspired by the excellence of the sport-comedy Kingpin (Woody Harrelson). Enjoy,

Let me tell you the tale of my adventures in bowling. I used to bowl as a teen in New Jersey and then later with pals in college and then later with my neighbor in New Jersey. I became an avid-fan of bowling and bowling-ball artworks. My name's Amlan Satan, and I like posting bowling game journal-reports on social-media and on cyber-forums. It's great for Facebook living too it seems (ha).

When I go to WalMart or Shoprite (supermarket), I think of the quality of consumerism and the media-ads surrounding capitalism conveniences in the United States, and you come across some fans of bowling in these places, and I present myself as a bowling-fan cyber-blogger and fans of bowling stories for Facebook (hmm).

I have this 'fantastic' bowling-trophy from Dartmouth which reminded me why competition doesn't have to be all-serious and can sometimes be a 'thing' of great personal/private glory (yes).

However, that's not the real point of this tale. I've a dark secret. I like keeping in my car-trunk two special charm-dolls when I go to bowling-tourneys, dolls that remind me why metaphysics-magic is better than cursing to brood about misfortune. That's my religion, and I feel some of this 'wind' from modern horror-films (wow).

The two dolls I keep as my angels/faeries are not equally eerie or unusual. One's a regular ornamental Asian-doll in a nice authentic Eastern-costume! It reminds me why bowling champions require that 'extra-credit' dose of IQ regarding human distances to fancy friendship (no?).

I met my wife at a bowling-tourney, and she 'blesses' and cheers my cyber-blogs about bowling contests, since she's a fan of magazine-culture dolls/fashion and appreciates why I'd invest in social-media to cheer on competitive thinking and capitalism defense (yes).

You meet all kinds of great folks at bowling events, including Centurions, Warriors, Priests, Magicians, Tinkers, Thespians, and even Burglars. What they all have in common is a shared Western/American interest in the 'human' equation of rolling that great big sphere down that wood lane floor to knock down those standing pin-objects in coordination/number to achieve that mighty score...for us all (Earthlings).

Bowling isn't necessarily a celebrity thing but it's surely an American phenomenon, and these days you may find ESPN bowling imagery or on the World Wide Web. What matters most is to connect American entertainment to competition stalemates in human friendship. After all, isn't the rationale for magazine-culture in our nation an 'access' to the fantasy of fake friends?

Even if I don't become a celebrity in the Western world, my love of bowling will always reflect my sincere/real interest on Earth --- to make contact with a deadly Martian and defeat him in chess (ha). No, maybe there's aliens out there, just like humans, who think bowling is simply a dollhouse for inventive diary. I mean, I bowl for myself...not for the stars (of course).
