Uncle-Cy

Uncle-Cy

A Story by Abishai100
"

A 'dark' fable about sports-cards IQ/daydreams, featuring a 'capitalism-IQ' surrounding securities/ratings of treasure-depression!

"
A fable about sports-treasure imagination/fiction, inspired very-loosely by Angels in the Outfield.

Stan entered the Baseball Hall of Fame for one reason only, to replace a Cy-Young baseball antique (card!) with a replica he made at home using a computer.

DIARY: I care about sports-stat(s); Cy was the 'father-figure' of baseball-stat(s); every Series-trade-set I love speaks to this.

Stan had worked up the careful/tedious stats-computing diagrams lonely in his New England (Boston) condo before trekking to the Hall-of-Fame to perform that 'ninja' replica-trade, determined to 'lift' the value(s) of the 'Uncle-Cy' card for 'securities' so that no anti-American terrorist-thief would be the first to perform the horrid deed, disintegrating the sports-stat(s) values of the Cy-card in the United States, a thought of computed evil.

SAGE: What you propose goes against the training-years I offered regarding stalemate-chess ed for ya, Stan.
STAN: I need to do this, master Sage, for the protection/safeguarding and eternal secret securities of the Uncle-Cy card!

ESQUIRE: So, apparently, a man went into the Hall-of-Fame (restroom!) and exited costumed as a 'terrorist' stage-actor?
CURATOR: We believe this is precise; then, he swapped the 'Uncle-Cy' card with a 'cool' replica while staging his antics!
ESQUIRE: What's the 'new' Cy-Young (United States) card estimated to be worth now, sir?
CURATOR: We believe 'stat(s)-pools' of underground journals 'raised' the iconic Uncle-Cy card to be worth over $2M (wow).
ESQUIRE: That's so...American!

DIARY: The deed I now toast concerns the lifelong securities surrounding the iconic Uncle-Cy card...for journals of DNA (ha).

GIRLFRIEND: I dunno if I believe you, Stan; besides, I'm a modern Dodger(s)-fan; maybe Uncle-Cy warrants $2M photos/IQ.

"Activate your fans, don't just collect them like baseball cards" (Jay Baer).
