A simple if offbeat adaptation of the iconic suspense-noir (graphic) film A Perfect Murder (Michael Douglas), though this 'fanfiction' isn't really that graphic. Thanks for reading (and enjoy!),

Shelbye Davis had become a magazine-culture phenom in the modern cyber-media world of ideations of consumerism-lifestyle and the 'capitalism-chess' of marketed gems/toys/ornaments creating post-9/11 era journals for strong commercial vanities (wow).

STRANGER: I shall make this Miss Davis 'phenomenon' a chess-stalemate symphony for a murder-IQ in the United States (ha).

This deranged 'American psycho' (Amlan Satan) was determined to throw a radical homegrown American terror monkey-wrench into the formulaic/fun cyber-fanzine ideation of commerce-driven capitalism-IQ in the hometown city of Miss Davis, Chicago (hmm).

He tracked her everyday from work, from her Windy-City studio-street photo-shoots to eventually her 'secret' residential coven right outside Chicago and waited until after dark to break into her attic room window on the rooftop by climbing up with special suction-cups on his hands (whoa). He then sneaked into her bedroom, bloody murdered her with a handkerchief of extra chloroform-chemical(s) and then after she passed, shot her in the forehead once with his handy-dandy silencer and left a deranged 'Catholic-prayer' message by her bedstand.

OFFICIAL REPORT (Dubious): We believe Miss Davis tried to kill herself with some chemical(s)-ingestion but was stopped by some mad-fan or 'secret' bodyguard who wanted to prevent the magazine-celeb woman of the challenged Windy-City from turning a suicide into some mass panic statement in the post-9/11 age; Shelbye was buried in her hometown cemetery, by her family stone(s), and we're still investigating if she was trying some strange 'foul-conspiracy' with a suicide-note thwarted by her bodyguard/groupie who (we think) seemed to want to cast this tragedy as an American murder and not a suicide-message (hmm).

What's even stranger is that Amlan Satan, the antagonist-stranger, left his fingerprint-cleansed magnet pocket-chess set in Miss Davis' Chicago-home, determined to add even more extra-spice to the 'crazy' modern city tale of 'sci-fi' proportion(s) and sealed it with a ribbon (anonymous) cyber-blog claiming, "Miss Davis (Shelbye) was stalked by a Martian and required Euthanasia-rescue from her (secret!) bodyguard, a man named Mr. Satan!"

POLICE REPORT: We found also a comics-doodle stick-figure parody 'anti-capitalism' avatar ("Evil-Elf") in Shelbye's home (ha!).

DIARY: We wonder if these magazine/cyber age ideations of stalemate-capitalism in the post-9/11 era draws 'stranger' DNA.
