I was living in North America and decided to erect a special baseball-field in my farm cornfield and hoped I'd start to feel the magical rush of the iconic fielding bat-and-ball game of democratic symbolism, perhaps to share some photos with my pals on cyber-chess (e.g., Facebook-chess).

You see, I had this fantastic home tabletop baseball dice-game of odds-and-evens for synthesizing great rivalries in the iconic modern media-broadcast era game and wanted to cheer on some of my World-Series appearance teams (e.g., Reds!). This is where I got the ideation of my special cornfield field-construct (ha).

So, I built they strange field in the middle of my farm-field by the side of the driven road(s) and after I did so practiced some casual/magical self-batting with my ball, which I purchased on eBay. After a month, in the summertime, I noticed something very strange indeed --- a series of geometric-art(s) 'crop-markings' right next to the baseball-field I put up, and I concluded they'd been made by Martians (aliens!). Follow along.

I had a very lucid-dream one night that during my own ideations of what my farm-field represented and used it to imagine special Series-games from television, the visiting Martians (aliens!) who put up those very-same field crop-markings/shapes next to the baseball-field would want to 'cast' themselves as ghostly/shadowy figures, offering a very unusual species-contact message for this North American artist (whoa).

Why would aliens make field-crop markings right next to my baseball-field in my farm-field in North America, I wondered. I mean, I'm a reasonably normal/sane Catholic-man of Western civilization and like normal things, especially cyber-chess (e.g., Facebook-chess). Were these visiting/invading aliens trying to erect a special 'hologram' about the quality of sportsmanship-stalemate(s)?

Perhaps these invading/visiting aliens from Mars (which is what I conceived they were in fact!) wanted to offer this cyber-chess player the stat-value(s) of baseball, maybe compared to chess-play, and why it represented Cold-War value(s) and hoped to engage me in sportsmanship-ideations, to see if I'd be able to serve as a 'diplomat' of diplomacy/sovereignty and 'competition' imagination, and then they'd agree to a non-invasion policy (just maybe), before they 'parked' their, say, 'invisible' ship in the Earth deep-ocean abyss as self-exiled anthropologists, without any further/future contact (hmm).

DIARY-ENTRY: Hypothetical 'greeting' message by Martian-aliens to me regarding chess/baseball - "You humans love teams!"

After this strange dream, I decided the very best/wisest thing to do to serve as this 'anticipation-diplomat' on my 'Field of Dreams' in North America, to 'greet' these visiting/invading Martians (aliens!) was to procure a special baseball-figurine/themed chess-set/board and prepare to challenge these extra-terrestrial 'visitors' with an accepted challenge/dare to draw a diplomatic stalemate-condition(s) gameplay against them (ha)!

DIARY-ENTRY: Alien-comment following baseball-chess stalemate-drawing - "You humans 'wrought' your capitalism-deeds!"

I then decided to get a very 'human-magic' team-Series (trade-cards) set (Upper-Deck!) to cast my own 'human-race' ideations of these value(s) regarding those 'invisible' links between competition and intelligence/intuition, between the democratic 'shape(s)' of baseball and the geometrical stalemate of politics-symbolic chess (e.g., Cold-War chess!). Maybe this was all a strange 'journal' for the ideations of Earth-world capitalism drawing(s) in the post-9/11 era (wow).
