Salinger's Field English

Salinger's Field English

A Story by Abishai100
"

An 'amplified' American writer dreams he's in a sportsman-artwork while being 'moved' by a spying alien to seek traffic-energizers.

"
A fantasy-tale about the 'discovery' of 'links' between sports (baseball!) and capitalism exercise, featuring a (fictionalized!) 'cameo' of the iconic American folk-novelist JD Salinger (Catcher in the Rye).

DISCLAIMER: This work casts a special 'fiction-spotlight' on a real-world writer but is not presented as any 'actual'/legal representation of the writer's diary or (incidentally) of the dictionary of the American/Western sport of baseball and is only offered as a work of 'literary' direction.

Salinger was so pleased with his 'performance' in the media, having casted an 'idealized' form of culture-psyche presentation in his highly-laureled Catcher in the Rye (Holden Caufield) theme about lost innocence and 'Americanized' existentialism which suddenly/ironically brought him to new ideations of what comprised the 'quality' of human consciousness...and imaginative sportsmanship (hmm).

SalingerI'm quite illiterate, but I read a lot.

SalingerI'm the most terrific liar you ever saw in your life.

Well, this adventure in human consciousness is 'exactly' what JD Salinger, our protagonist 'genius' found because of his natural intent (ha). You see, friends, Mr. Salinger decided to really immerse his intuition in the field of dreams of baseball (the iconic American sport of bat-ball-fielding) and found himself having a deep/rich dream-sleep 'experience' in which he found himself playing alongside a 'host' of deceased American baseball legends somewhere on a heaven's-gate field of diamonds (wow).

SALINGER: People never notice anything.
ALIEN: Spying on humans from the Earth-moon gives me a 'cool' chess-ideation of Mr. Salinger's 'sportsmanship'-image (Eros)!

This spying Martian on the Earth-moon, a 'dragon'-alien being named Eros decided that Mr. Salinger's strange sportsmanship-ideations of the consciousness translation(s) between competition and intuition and literary 'imagery' foreshadowed future American homeland traffic-IQ 'challenge(s)' regarding the securities of commercial hubs/institutions (hmm)! Eros (alien) decided he'd 'whisper' a message into JD Salinger's brain, while he dream-slept about his 'Americana-baseball' daydream on that heaven's-gate field of dreams, "Americans need 'sidekicks' for the 'stalemate' forging peace...from utter excrement!"

When Salinger woke from his dream, he'd move by his 'whispered-revelation' to find this 'fantastic' American sidekick to go on a special culture-road(s) adventure in the United States, and he found this man, a young Ivy-man named Amlan Satan (Dartmouth) who was a huge/avid fan of the Cincinnati baseball team which resurrected its 'troubled' organization with a 'grand' 1990 underdog Series title, which was later marked by fan trade-cards set(s) toasts (Upper-Deck) to baseball-championships by social-media fans (e.g., Facebook-IQ).

MR. SATAN: I've this fantastic/extraordinary Larkin-Reds (rookie) card (Fleer) which is a nice toast for capitalism-chess, no?
MR. SALINGER: That's an excellent though...the 'transference' of sports-diadems into the 'living-quality' of American DNA (ha).
MR. SATAN: Perhaps there's 'real' exercise(s) in the casting of Reds/baseball treasure(s) on social roads for capitalism-defense!
MR. SALINGER: People never believe you.

Salinger engaged with Amlan Satan's fashion-world girlfriend (Manhattan) who was using special graph-designs on paper-mail to distribute capitalism-symbolic iconography (likened to Warhol-capitalism art-messages!) for 'sportsmanship' surrounding Western civilization journals (Carnegie).

MR. SATAN: Seems we've discovered the odd-nature of sportsmanship-driven chess-defense of capitalism through baseball!
MR. SALINGER: Baseball-cards are a natural Western treasure for the youthful-spirit(s), Satan; this is 'cool' photojournalism.

So, Satan/Salinger attended a night-game in Cincinnati and enjoyed what was the 'dream'-landscape of the composition of sportsmanship and capitalism-ideation defenses for Western civilization --- a living 'synthesized' imagination-experience of democratic competitiveness and field-teamwork. Salinger wondered if he'd got past the haunting of his protagonist 'stranger' of America (Holden Caufield)!

SalingerI don't necessarily intend to publish posthumously, but I do like to write for myself.
