Amlan Satan was working on a special World Series 'faerie-tale' about a rather quiet/humble underdog team in North America climbing to shocking successes and challenging a rather dominant league team which had earned a rather incredible winning record during the regular season, which culminated in the Halloween season (October-magic).

The story Mr. Satan was working on concerned the odd precocious observation of an underdog team of 'excellent' team-chemistry challenging a dominant/favored (baseball) team with a complete winning performance/predictability, regardless of style/origin/intelligence (hmm).

The season in Western baseball had seen much drama and imagery that year, and as Halloween-October rolled around, TV-audiences around the continent were thinking about choreographed sportsmanship for the Series-title, honestly anticipating the dominant league team to simply 'run-wild' over the challenging/shocking underdog team. Hey, Mr. Satan assumed that since such an 'underdog-triumph' had been seen before, for example in 1990, it's be certainly conceivable that this October-season would see a comparable 'education' in sportsmanship-effervescence.

According to Amlan, the ideation of an underdog team ascending to great sportsmanship-performance/IQ in the Series would remind the TV-audience(s) of the 'quality' of baseball-magic in the October-season and why it'd cast a 'cool shadow' over the nature-nurture debate over city-baseball stylistics...or design (hmm).

Meanwhile, the dominant team was on-track to deliver a highly-anticipated 'superior' performance, to simply remind North American sports/audience fans of the 'quality' of excellence in engendered/fit baseball skill or meditation.

Nevertheless, Mr. Satan insisted that this cool 'faerie-tale' of an underdog-baseball team in Western civilization ascending to a 'fantastic' Series-level performance and reminding all baseball writers/fans/athletes/students of past 'glories' of underdogs would catalyze creative imagery regarding competition-consciousness and why baseball would be likened to Earth.
