Petroleum had become a hallmark of globalized capitalism and commercial vanities but also the source of great international ambition, fury, and angst, as the OPEC producing Middle Eastern nation-bloc of petroleum-market engineers were at-odds with Western petrol-companies such as British Petroleum (BP) in an emerged (post-Industrialization) age of great commodities-based political bridging for peace/diplomacy neutralizing the anti-capitalist threat of post-9/11 era terrorism. This placed certain 'iconic' Western petrol-companies (e.g., Hess) as signpost-bearers of a democratic 'agenda' regarding a capitalism-flowery for anti-terrorism rhetoric directed for/against the United States, and this stage-drama plays out in the City of Brotherly Love (Philadelphia) during the 2022 World Series (Astros-Phillies) when a 'stranger' visits the city for the baseball game(s) and determines the quality of urban securities for the media-broadcast era sport/games while taking journal-notes about Philly-gas stations for a media-presentation about post-9/11 age commercial traffic convenience securities/safety!

The 'stranger' is Amlan Satan, an Algerian from British Columbia (North America) whose been generating reports on the quality of gem-market reliability/integrity in sectarian/economics troubled Northern Ireland (United Kingdom) created by the global blood-diamond traffic ('conflict-zone' gem proliferation funding modern rogue terrorists).

AMLAN SATAN: Philly's become a Western/American 'hallmark' of democratic/commercial folk traffic and journals for chess!

He's brought his special Crusades-Arabia crafted/themed chess-set/board and finds some good off-work time near the Philly baseball-stadium challenging incoming/driving fans of the Series-games partying in the lot(s) outside the arena before the game begins and challenges them to car-hood top chess with his nifty crafted set/board.
