I'd been a sports/baseball fan since I was a young boy, cheering for the Philadelphia Phillies and then continued to cheer for them as I began collecting baseball cards and eventually boasted/toasted numerous iconic Phillies-star cards (e.g., Dykstra, Kruk, Schmidt, Utley). The 'marvelous' Phillies of the City of Brotherly Love won the World Series not just once but twice (1980/2008), and now, this year (2022), they've reached the Series again, to face the powerhouse Astros, and they've offered a new form of 'charge' to the great US-city!

Well, folks, I've got a huge treat for you in this sports fable. It doesn't concern the 'chance' the Phillies will win the Series again this year (2022), but in fact, the ideation that their triumphant and arguably 'shocking' come-from-behind victory in Game 1 (6-5) in the arduous 10th inning signaled something City of Brotherly Love fans cheered for all along --- any 'taste' of winning itself.

My name's Amlan Satan, and I'm the city's masked vigilante known as Batman. I prowl at night, seeking criminally-insane terrorists who seek to destroy Philly-dreams/spirits and engage forms of true evil with ingenious (masked/geared) forms of past-midnight tranquilization of the henchmen, the harlequins, the haters, the hellraisers, the high-men, and the hillbillies (ha).

My sidekick in this 'vision' of love for the City of Brotherly Love is of course my darling niece Barbara, whom I call Batgirl and for whom and by whom and about whom I cast special comics-vigilantism 'fanfiction' fables online for Philly-fans/readers who hope to translate urban impressionism/optimism into 'cool' post-9/11 age forms of 'chess'-IQ regarding the peace and sanity and fun wrought from the mayhem-stalemate drawn against those who usurp 'basic' American ego.

BATGIRL: Philly's got zesty/cheesy treats for Halloween including a Series 1-Game triumph for an underdog-plate of chess!

So, after the Game-1 triumph of the 'shocking' Phillies in this year's Series (World), people were 'giddy' in sports-bars around the United States, simply because statistically speaking, underdogs rarely offer hometown-pride forms of 'chess-IQ' regarding the 'general marketability' of victories in turns when it doesn't come in 'momentous' forms of inception-based anticipation, such as a Series-opening all-symbolic/iconic Game 1. That's why Batgirl/I darted to the Philly-dives after this triumph/magic in Game 1, just to remind folks that a 'micro' miracle is what Philadelphia eats in this post-9/11 era.

Of course we can't count-out those powerhouse big Astros who're sure to counter any form of Philly-chess with their own 'dark' brand of sporting vertigo, and who knows --- they might win every other game after the 'excellent' Game-1, taking fanfare/social-media back to another US-state (totally).

It's not that huge an ordeal, according to Batgirl, who's out there now, busy circulating/re-presenting this Game 1 micro-miracle on social-media/video-game platforms and presentations during the daytime through YouTube and Best-Buy video-game store demos featuring a 'replay' or 'natural synthesis' of the Game-1 of the Phillies-Astros encounter.

However, to me, Batman, things are much graver/darker in regards to the 'sheer' symbolic-IQ weight of the 'chess-stalemate' of post-9/11 era sports (baseball) spirits that drive-home the ideation that any form of underdog-event/activity surely generates a kaleidoscope of interests in the 'quality' of modern hometown sports-themed competition-consciousness based 'basic' human...enterprise.

BATGIRL: I got him this 'fantastic' baseball-figurine/themed chess-set/board, to remind us how Philly is an elfin-dungeon!

BATMAN: The nature of urban chess-IQ is 'wrought' light from the darkness of mad-pain/betrayal; sports cast excellence arts.

Will the Phillies 'sneak'-in yet another 'shocking' pre-Xmas Halloween-time 'stock' for this 'fantastic' Series (World) after their already-excellent Game-1 city-e triumph? What matters to those working in the dominion of criminal-insanity (Batman/Batgirl) is that 'chess-ideations' of pure social cohesion re-present our dark fear of 'basic' escape. Perhaps the Phillies have already 'gifted' us something extra-ordinary --- perhaps elves!
