I was working as a chess-society administrator and faculty-advisor in New England and living out of a special social-house rumored to be the inspiration for an iconic Western/American film about student social life.

My name's Amlan Satan, and I'm an Algerian-American Catholic, US-citizen, and computer-science professor (Dartmouth) working with chess-stalemate diagrams for politics-decisions and A.I.-representative programs for intelligence complexity in the United States. I consider myself an "Earth-prince" of special chess-IQ ideations of what makes competition a thing of consensual social-media relevant excellence!

I bought this 'fantastic' baseball-figurine/themed sports chess-set/board which I used to share with my chess-associations on social-media and celebrated ideations of peaceful competition/sportsmanship in the United States for the post-9/11 age(s) and thought of ways why/how chess competition would extend to various intellectual philosophical contemplations of the 'nature' of race excellence.

One day, I was working on social-media (Dartmouth) when I was contacted by a spying Martian 'dragon' (alien), a secret spying being hiding on the Earth-moon, claiming he'd been 'spying' on human society and wanting to challenge/dare me to a special stalemate-condition(s) chess-match to warrant a full non-invasion/sovereignty pact with our race! If I achieved the stalemate in the iconic chess piece-position movement strategy board-game involving monarchy-pieces in symmetry/diagonal arrays, the Martian would concede to a peaceful self-exile status in the Earth deep-ocean abyss without further (dangerous!) species/race-contact with us. I had no choice but to accept the challenge/dare, and I thought about all those nifty sci-fi/horror movies and comics I grew up reading/watching as I prepared for this New England chess-equivalence proposal with a dragon.

MARTIAN: Damn; you've drawn a 'swiftness' rook-bishop double-line to offset/balance my queen-knight offensive(s); damn!

ME: Excellence, Mr. Martian; seems this chess 'achievement' of 'cool' stalemate's warranted that 'sovereignty' you promised.

MARTIAN: That's a deal; you've managed to wield special strategy-IQ for cool-consciousness in this even-stalemate dare, eh?

ME: I surely have, Mr. Martian (yes!).

MARTIAN: Perhaps, as I self-exile myself to the deep Earth-ocean abyss as a non-contact isolationist/priest, you'll do fine.

ME: Surely; I plan to get married and continue my social-media work(s) with chess-stalemate oriented democratic IQ.

MARTIAN: Cool; I suppose this dare's taught you the value(s) of race excellence, no?
ME: I agree to that; in fact, I might draw a special comics-tale online about chess-challenge between a prince and a Martian.

MARTIAN: Alright; remember to keep this chess-world IQ engagement a 'deep' secret between us, prince of Earth.

ME: Hey...I might play like a daredevil-American, but I'm a 'cool' prince at heart.

MARTIAN: Good.

That's what I did (what I promised). I kept the Martian's 'dark' secret about his isolationist self-exile in the Earth-ocean while I continued to write in journals and comics-tales about humans/aliens engaged in 'stalemate' intrigue in the post-9/11 age for race ideations regarding networking stability and political/sovereignty securities. I became something of a 'priest' of species-chess equivalence(s)...just like the Martian I drew a miracle-stalemate with on the cyber-channel he 'hacked' into from the Earth-moon (wow).

ENDYMION: Had that wily 'Earth-prince' failed the chess-dare, I'd have engaged a world-telepathy mind-enslavement forever.
