"I've been working in this dark city of Chicago (Earth) and using my 'red' typewriter at home to make vigilante-oriented letters for the public for the endorsements of the Bulls-Bears market for strong ideations of the chess-stalemates that secure traffic for sports-media fanfare for the citizenry, against the maelstrom of ingrown criminality and narcissism we thought had vanished since the Prohibition Era (wow)."

"I liken myself to a great comic book superhero like something out of DC and cast myself as a vigilante of Chicago, the fabled/challenged Windy-City (United States) and enjoyed cheering on various sports figures and collecting sports-cards of Chicago greats when I was younger (e.g., Ryne Sandberg)."

"In fact, I've even a special 'fantastic' baseball-figurine chess-set/board which I use for my inspiration to craft stories about the chess-stalemates for competition-consciousness that ward off the horrid/dark demons of modern criminality and terrorism created by misguided juvenile capitalism-piracy/opportunism (e.g., blood-diamond lasers)."

The story, Fire in Eden, reminded Chicago residents that firemen are as 'eternal' as maniacs/pirates."

GIRLFRIEND: I met the 'dude' at U-Chicago/Dartmouth (for an eco-terrorism conference); he likes his Facebook-chess aliens!

"Despite my critics/cohorts, the actual 'weapon' in my arsenal, the real 'dark knight secret' in this urban Chicago 'net-crusade' to defend the laurel(s) of this city's great magic/lore...is simply and honestly and humbly and admittedly my shiny red Vespa-scooter, which I named my 'red' magic typewriter after (for writing-magic). My Vespa-scooter is an 'application' of my interest(s) and investment(s) in the 'machinery' of civilization that makes 'sane anarchy' (creativity!) more fresh than self-destructive terrorism in the Homeland. It's my Vespa-scooter, in its simple, cartoonish form, that reminds me why getting-around the fabled/challenged Windy-City is all about...elves."
