Aldrich Killian was developing a special art initiative at Phillips (Institute) involving blind people molding aluminum into personalized sculptures for inventive life-vitality psychiatry/consciousness and earned the esteem of many folks on social-media in North America.

ALDRICH KILLIAN: I'll be re-presenting fine works in aluminum-arts as diadems for this Phillips-venture in capitalism-chess for blindness therapy in America.

Therefore, the use of aluminum for art purpose was well-known, and Dr. Killian simply transferred this laurel into the Phillips funded venture for an inventive form of psychiatry/therapy in the Western world.

ALDRICH KILLIAN: It's quite illuminating the way young folks mold/play with aluminum, as if it's a 'materials-science' for the mind's eye (control/escape).
