Amlan lived in a nice area of Chicago as Xmas season approached and wanted to keep his psychic-IQ a secret from the world he lived in and chose not to disclose this dark gift and continued to simply live off his princely-inherited fortunes and make cyber-chess club diagrams of politics-relevant stalemate-strategy for competition education for modern youth on social-media.

AMLAN: This Xmas-time in Chicago in this post-9/11 era shall be quaint/lovely for a new quiche-idea I toast!

The post-9/11 age on Earth was beset by all kinds of human-traffic intrigue/IQ, including terrorism intelligence, rogue interventions, and blood-diamond piracy/smuggling all over Europe and North America, but the psychic Amlan wanted to use his premonition power to administer words of counsel to his Chicago community, to reach-out to everyday folks hampered by 'real' citizenry challenges requiring everyday administration of anti-evil expressions.

AMLAN: I've kept that special Chicago headlines-paper of the day the Earth stood still; for community-chess!

He met a beautiful woman in the Chicago super-store (Tandy) and realized with this 'chess' like mental powers that she'd been trapped in an alcoholic marriage with a 'bad' policeman (Sandy) and hoped to reach-out to her to tell her why she might enjoy a self-chess activity (cyber) to 'exercise' her liberty-choices in self-determined decision-making fantasy-play...and consider the wisdom of integrating into the 'alternate' world of 'Chicago bazaar' choice-driven life imagery. She started to fall in love with him and confided this to her social-media girlfriend(s).

TANDY: Wow...a shrimp cheddar quiche hits the note(s) for Xmas-December Saturday early-evening, honey!

AMLAN: Indeed; thanks for saying that, honey-bee; this is the right accoutrement to chess/champagne.

TANDY: I just want to put my old-life (Sandy) behind me forever, Amlan.

AMLAN: That's perfect; perhaps your 'old' life is one of discarded 'chess' exodus (Sandy).

TANDY: Yeah...

They got married and had a son (Damian) for whom, when he was 10, he purchased a 'cool' Batman-Predator adventure-comic, a tale of modern Earth valor/fantasy reflecting a 'Chicago' chess-ideation of what composed the quality of human race intelligence and 'psychic' expressions (ha).

DAMIAN: I worry sometimes dad about all these 'terrorists' threatening our Chicago life everyday (now).

AMLAN: That's cool, son; there's nothing 'unusual' about fear; the 'chess' is in administering quality-emotion.

TANDY: Wow, this new Chicago (art) museum is quite the rave, honey.

AMLAN: Yeah...Damian loves it (too).

TANDY: Who'd think my life would make some kind of 'telekinetic' U-turn for emergency/art?

AMLAN: Hey...I knew that!

Amlan also got Damian a 'classic' baseball-figurine chess-set/board which he used to teach his darling boy the diagrams of stalemate-chess imaginations and its symbolism-reflection of politics-Earth energy and competition sanity for these 'tough' times in the world, and Damian would become his 'best' pupil!
