Arctic: The Thing

Valiant 'Snake-Eyes' and his Zebra-ice team engage with an alien 'Thing' in the Arctic and 'draw' human race expression(s).

A 'valiant' crew of US ice-station ("Zebra") were assembled in the Arctic region(s) to man a special research and minerals searching crew and included the special super-soldier/scientist Amlan Satan who went by the alias 'Snake-Eyes' and liked spending his indoor off-duty time playing on his cool cyber-chess Wizard video-game (against computer) to create 'cool' stalemate-diagrams which he felt represented a human race ideation of the competition balance(s) symbolic of 'real' good intelligence. He was a solid deep thinker and the best asset the Zebra-team had in this horrifying story of an eerie 'alien' encounter in the ice. Follow along.

SNAKE-EYES: We'd manned that handsome ice-station Zebra all winter long, and we couldn't have anticipate the discoveries.

WIFE: I like working alongside you, Satan, here in Zebra, but I wish you'd think more of my pepperoni-quiche than discovery!

Amlan Satan's wife (Tandy) liked what her husband was doing for the government in the Arctic and was herself part of the Zebra-team in that ice region as a scientist purely, but she worried that his pensive brooding about all the complexity of life rendered him as somehow 'alien' from the human-world of social-media, Selfie-fun, and general socialization (hmm).

AMLAN SATAN ('Snake-Eyes'): I know Tandy is right; I'm too pensive about work; but I consider my 'romantic' chess-Selfie(s).

Out there in the Arctic, all you (really) think about is the 'nature' of man and the endurance of the cold-and-ice, and the Zebra-team had been carrying-out 'fine' work and was complimented on social-media (Twitter) by the American President himself who sent a special media-team to cover the photo-tale for the Post (and for a special ice-station calendar for Xmas!).

TANDY: We'd been performing our 'routine' study in the Arctic/Zebra, when we discovered the sight of an alien spacecraft!

The bizarre alien spaceship Snake-Eyes and his Zebra-team found in the Arctic was nothing less than other-worldly, a disc-shaped 'craft' which seemed hollow-inside, but it certainly harbored a 'stranger' entity, and this entity turned out to be a genetically-morphing alien 'creature' of ravenous intelligence with a certain flesh-mutating ability to parasitically bond with a human body and create a super-monster which required Amlan Satan and his wife Tandy to scramble for a 'real' chess endurance (wow).

SNAKE-EYES: The 'Thing' morphed into a spider-human after devouring one of the Zebra-crew and then 'merging' with another.

TANDY: The merging cannibal 'deed' of the Thing simply was revelation(s) in 'pure' horror; we had to wield fire for cinema!

THE POST (Media): "The 'valiant' Snake-Eyes and his Zebra-crew (Tandy, etc.) used a Boring-gun to burn Heaven."

AMERICAN SCIENCE FIRM: For now, the non-disclosure regards the alien's IQ regarding 'chess-stalemate' orientations in symbiotic super-evolution 'agenda' with the 'certain' intent to create an Earth-species subjugation, were it not burned to ash by Snake-Eyes' valiant-Zebra with the Boring-mechanism(s) of fire-and-fury (hmm).

TANDY: Honey, did you 'learn' (for thanksgiving) they'd commemorated our Zebra-exercise with a special action-figurine toy?

SATAN: That is certainly cool.

The Thing was destroyed; Earth was saved, and human race dignity restored. However, Snake-Eyes, Tandy, and Zebra wouldn't soon forget the 'trauma' of this alien race and how it reminded all Earth-folk(s) of the 'chess-stalemate' of raw survival and wit(s), and why 'pepperoni-quiche' sanity, anywhere on Earth, could/would be a 'thing' of pure humor(s)...or education!
