Nutcracker (NY!)

Clara dreams of a 'modern' New York story of her 'fantastic' Nutcracker 'prince'-doll who just might 'deliver' charm(s).

It was Xmas in New York, and Clara's aristocratic parents had cast a special glorious outdoor tree in front of their lavish Manhattan residence and placed a very cool Nutcracker figurine-doll from Romania at the bottom, and it simply fascinated the young girl Clara who dreamed the doll would come to life...just for her!

CLARA: This doll is a 'secret' prince when come to life will give my life in New York a 'fantastic' dash/dance!

Clara's older-brother Stuart was always jealous of her spirit and zest in life and was knowing of her adoration of the Nutcracker doll and resolved to create a special 'war' dance to complicate this New York daydream while she danced around her Nutcracker 'prince' who'd come to life (somehow)!

STUART: I shall break the head of that Nutcracker-doll to see if Clara'd still imagine her 'prince' would rescue her now (ha).

The doll did come to life! Clara was actually dreaming while sleeping but thought she was wide-awake and envisioned the broken-head doll repair itself with Clara's handkerchief and come to life and dance for her and share with her (and Stuart!) the pure American capitalism-magic in the post-9/11 era of the special pro-football spirits trade-card ('Upper Deck') Stuart carried in his jacket-pocket with him (wow).

However, a vile evil king of the underworld called Mouseman dared to destroy this dream Clara'd been having that Xmas-season in NY and sought to 'steal' the 'Upper Deck' treasure owned by Stuart and trumpeted by the Nutcracker prince who'd come to life (somehow).

NUTCRACKER: You won't 'steal' this Strike-Force ('Upper Deck') capitalism-treasure from little Stuart's mighty-hand(s) or mine.

MOUSEMAN: We shall see...

The Nutcracker prince, with the aid of Clara/Stuart, managed to keep their American sports-capital 'Upper Deck' treasure and banished away the darker presence of the evil Mouseman as the folks passing by the streets in Clara's dream, adorned in old-NY wear(s), walked by for praises (wow).

CLARA: In this dream-vision I'm having, I see various angels of the lakes and foreign 'domains' dance in the NY-street(s)!

STUART: Maybe my sister (Clara) has become more of an 'angel' for my life and I shall not disturb her sense of music now.

When Clara awoke from this fantastic Nutcracker 'prince' dream, she resolved to first fix the actual doll-figurine's head with her dad's handkerchief and some handy-dandy tape before writing in her 'secret' journal --- "Every time I'll walk by an outdoor Xmas-tree now, I'll 'dream' of that Nutcracker-prince who helped Stuart/me protect that 'national treasure' of Upper-Deck lore (Strike-Force), a Randall Cunningham 'cool' Eagles-Vikings trade-card (pro-football!), from the dark hand(s) of the evil Mouseman (wow)."

PARENTS: Give thanks to God for this nice Xmas-season in NY, when Clara/Stuart have 'resolved' their longtime bitter fights.

STUART: Look at these 'darling' miniature quiches mom/dad made for us this season, Clara sister!

CLARA: They remind me of that special dance of the Nutcracker prince and his angel ballet-dancers from faraway magic.

STUART: Your head is full of dreams of sweet-lands, Clara...maybe I feel like that too (now).

CLARA: Very cool, brother.

NUTCRACKER: Perhaps this post-9/11 era NY-magic has much-to-do with Clara's 'secret' journal sense(s) of shared expression.
