Plunkett/Macleane: English B+

A Story by Abishai100
"

A time-elapsed tale of thievery/heroics presented through an allegorical 'capitalism-lens' of wrought Ego-magic!

"
A tale or 'crime-romance' evolution inspired by Plunkett & Macleane (Jake Scott). Happy Holidays,
----
====

It was the first-half of the 18th-Century (England) and the fabled highwaymen robbed the aristocracy traveling on the countryside roads in their fat carriages and were masked 'rascals' of the pre-Industrialization era of great venture-capitalism tied to inherited wealth and estates. Such was the tale of the two estranged friends, Plunkett and Macleane, introduced to each other in prison, which they escaped miraculously, to reunite as a highwayman-duet creating premonition lure about capitalism's more 'Ego' control face (ha). Follow along.

PLUNKETT: We're to lift and swap a purple amethyst from the ring of an aristocrat-woman (Ezzy) with a fake for chats.
MACLEANE: We'll do the job, right...take-care not to fall for this Ezzy-lady of the Lord, won't you, my only brother?
PLUNKETT: Of course, Macleane; we don't want to be tracked by the evil Mr. Chance, the only 'detective' in England for chess.
MACLEANE: I hate chess.
PLUNKETT: Who doesn't, Macleane?
MACLEANE: I know you do not...take-care not to fall for Ezzy; don't become a prey for the historians, my brother (please!).

Macleane promised Plunkett to help him in this aristocracy-party gathering event amethyst highway-robbery of the fair lady's amethyst ring after inebriating her properly, but Plunkett was now 'duty-free' bound not to indulge in Era-Romanticism, a premonition perhaps for future 21st-Century Western-world 'social-media Selfie' culture consumerism-lifestyle 'chess' frills of the future-emerged 'Burger King' empire (ha).

PLUNKETT: Why'd my brother dream I'd fall for an aristocrat-daughter for the sake of Romanticism --- what of future-Earth?

Fall he did, for Ezzy, and Plunkett was left-alone to complete the highwaymen-rascal task of completing the incomplete bandit-mission for the sake of the poor in 18th-Century English land. However, Ezzy promised Macleane she'd 'run-away' with him if but for the emerging 'libertine' lore surrounding the 'shine' of storytellers' chess-liberties regarding reinvented fortune magic (wow).

MACLEANE: I knew I'd complete this incomplete danger and the mission over, but only due to my brother's proposal (Ezzy)!

EZZY'S COUSIN (Raymond): We're to employ this evil Mr. Chance to detect the 'alien-agenda' of these rascals and tie to Ezzy.
MR. CHANCE: I assure you Graces that these highwaymen shall not be 'lifted' to legend before I ruin their very eye(s).

PLUNKETT: Me thinks Raymond the cousin has wound his own trap...we'll disguise as his jesters to board the train with Ezzy!

MR. CHANCE: Damn that Plunkett-Macleane 'duet-of-mystery' in goodly England; Ezzy is lost; I seek 'alien' justice elsewhere.

Flash-forward generations later on the good Earth when the descendant of Macleane/Ezzy is a blood-diamond bank-robber named Amlan Satan who seeks to undo the Boston diamond-insurance 'scam(s)' of the evil Baron Ion who's employed a masked 'maniac' (Leatherface) to track and destroy the Earth-prince Amlan (Satan) who only seeks to retire with a cool life of horror-comics storytelling on the net-forum Zealand-Comics.net (wow).

AMLAN SATAN: I get this 'ancestor' feeling our modern highway(s)-adventure tale of blood-diamond is Leatherface-chess IQ.

LEATHERFACE: How'd you outwit/stalemate us in chess, you rascal of ancient ideals?
SATAN (Amlan): It's miraculous what's achieved with water-guns filled with acid...and for expression, no, Gargoyle-man?
LEATHERFACE: Aaarrrghh!

GIRLFRIEND: You brought me and Damian a 'Strike-Force' sports-card treasure before our journey to New Zealand, Satan?
AMLAN: Indeed; a 'red-print' and replica 'silver-edition' Cunningham-QB post-Eagles career Super Bowl ambitions treasure!
GIRLFRIEND: Damian will like it, at the least, Satan.
AMLAN: Why'd your hubby divorced you to leave you and Damian (your darling-boy) alone is a mystery of 'chess' sport, lady.
GIRLFRIEND: Love you, Satan.
AMLAN: This 'treasure' is timeless for the Ego (Freud).
GIRLFRIEND: That's very clever; I'll post something for social-media girlfriends (hmm).
