My name's Amlan Satan and I worked with blood-diamond infiltrations-chess in Northern Ireland (UK) before retiring and beginning a cyber-comics sports-writing career as a young retiree writing mostly about football/soccer. As the Qatar World Cup soccer-tourney approached, and Qatar became the 1st-Muslim nation (ever) to host the soccer event drawing international attention/endorsement, everyone wondered what kinds of 'characters' would cheer/commentate on this sacred sportsmanship event on Planet Earth for anti-terrorism rhetoric in the post-9/11 era (including myself).

France and Argentina don't really boast any kind of international soccer rivalry, but in 2018, their matchup in the Russian World Cup ahead of the dreaded Russo-Ukraine War/tribulation (Europe), signaled a new form of media spotlight between a South American soccer-nation touted as an economics-spotlight triumph team and a post Cold-War bloc-nation developing their own ideology for globalism rhetoric and chess. However, in 2022 Qatar, in today's Final game in Qatar, France-Argentina will square-off and create what many sports-writers (including me!) may consider a 'toast' for the gamesmanship behind modern international-media driven 'social' politics, something even a Martian would find quite an intriguing 'expression' for this human race of capitalism-chess (ha). Both nations boast excellent single-stars and both nations/teams have a chance to grab yet another World Cup title. We know Argentina won its last Cup in 1986 (Maradona-era), and France won in 1998 (Zidane-era). Who'll grab this Muslim-nation hosting World Cup is the question I'm cheering/asking as I study the event for my comics-tale of sports-and-lore, and I may be 'biased' (privately) for Argentina, a timelessly ardent team in the kicking-ball sport of great celebrity.

INTERVIEW: Do you know how much revenue World Cup soccer's generated outside the United States?
ME: A ton; however, the United States hosted the World Cup in the late-20th Century, though America didn't perform well!

For the post-9/11 era, the idea that a Muslim-nation hosting the World Cup soccer-event creates much media/money is a great 'toast' for anti-terrorism dialogue and capitalism-globalism rhetoric (hmm). Many fans of soccer who actually live in the United States, where football/baseball are much more endorsed/popular are likely 'divided' between which nation/team they'll be cheering, since both France and Argentina have boasted celebrities adored by Americans, including Maradona, Zidane, Messi, and Trezeguet. This Qatar World Cup, which kicks-off at 10am (New York Time) today (Sunday, December 18, 2022), will offer some pretty 'cool' chess imagery regarding modern commerce/media bridges to international peace...and egg-curry (ha).

INTERVIEW: Do you 'think' that terrorism is the head-line for the Qatar Cup (2022)?

ME: Of course I do...in fact, I'm certain France/Argentina have equal-chance to win and offer 'toast' for globalism-chess.

So, to honor this worldwide media-spectacle and 'toast' my secret-favorite team (Argentina), I'll be casting a special capitalism-Xmas avatar ("Evil-Elf") as a good-charm for the sportsmanship-symbolism occasion and honestly be cheering both France and Argentina, since both nations are offering 'excellence' in media-IQ for the symbolism behind the Muslim-nation (Qatar) celebrating a 'triumph' over the more archaic notion that sports-events are 'barred' from human race flowery because of terrorism. In fact, Evil-Elf shall create a great foreground for my post-championship 'faerie-tale' about the quality of expression regarding why we love soccer/football/sports (in general) and why this France-Argentina 'rematch' (2018) will create much Xmas-time consumerism spirit. If Argentina wins, I might get a Messi-jersey on Amazon. By the way, 'soccer' is called 'football' outside the United States (ha).

ARGENTINA: We have better arts/crafts/soybeans/pottery for Earth-Xmas should we win.

ME: I don't care who wins --- as long as there's no 'cold' terrorism for the Qatar event of chess-IQ proportion.
