==== Amlan Satan was a pickpocket-rascal of the Tweed-era of old New York (1800s) and used the social pulpit to cast special vigilante-lore and masked himself at night to drop milk-skin bags filled with warm-water onto the heads of passing vandals/thugs who'd be disgraced in street-prestige by the humiliating 'attack' at night. Amlan Satan then masked this vigilante ID as a normal 'overground' affable 1800s-NY street-writer named the Tweed-Writer (wow). ![]() TWEED-WRITER: Being a pirate in this time of great immigration-chess and street-lore-IQ requires a special human race (ha). ![]() Of course the modern age was filled with more robust tales/news of vigilant cops and criminals engaged in more organized forms of crime, and this 1800s-NY era therefore prompted more 'basic' ideations of city-resilience imagination which is why it'd been cast recently in modern social-media/cinema as 'look-worthy' by today's stars/producers looking for design-continuity in New York's general 'fanzine' aesthetic (wow). ![]() TWEED-WRITER: I managed to lift/keep a special 'antique' treasure (violin) from a vandal-gang leader as the vigilante-man. ![]() Amlan Satan ('Tweed-Writer') costumed himself in street-raggedy clothing/fashioned designed to make himself 'appear' as some self-inventive street-theater performer, all the while unwittingly creating a sort of 'magical' NY design/aesthetic 'continuity' we might reference/allude to in modern social-media/'Selfie' culture celebrating the 'ornaments' of consumerism-lifestyle Ego-chess (hmm). TWEED-WRITER: Seems to me this sort of work invokes the fables of organized 'rascals' devoted to the 'fashion' of inventions! ![]() Well, the 'street' fashions of Tweed-era NY (1800s) did indeed invoke a certain 'magic' regarding the lines of practicality and also 'style' consciousness, and we saw images by historians wishing to make contours of line-imagination between the aristocracy and the street-practical 'hellcats' of that time, models or queens or faeries (ha). ![]() TWEED-WRITER: Me wonders what the endurance-legacy of this 'fashion' era shall be and if we'd be 'immortals' by benefits. ![]() That time in New York was an inventive era of theatrical life and street-pragmatism and dividing contours between the rich and the 'useful' as immigration-stories and news and 'gang' differences poured into the public theater-halls and public drinking/party spaces.
