An homage to what makes TV-fanfare for American football so indicative of 'executed' intelligence, inspired by Any Given Sunday (Oliver Stone). Can't wait for the Super Bowl,

==== The playoff picture was bright in 2023, but mostly because the hot and fiery play of the Bills-QB Josh Allen made for some cool games, and the Eagles-Vikings matchup in the NFC Championship match had everyone thinking of some terrific rivalry-inception storytelling. ![]() In fact, the Eagles-Vikings lore for rivalry 'potential' all began with the Fran Tarkenton era of American pro-football spirits. Fran 'the fan's man' was an outstanding Hall-of-Famer for the Vikings in the 1970s and reached 3 whopping Super Bowls...but lost them all, creating the first real 'underdog' heartbreak genre of sports storytelling of American football, despite Fran's dominating Vikings play during the regular season during each of their mighty runs to the Bowl. It was the repetitive losses of Fran 'the fan's man' that created this heartbreak-romance for Minnesota. This was always the spirit of sportsmanship in the City of Brotherly Love, home of Rocky movie fans and the underdog teams of the 2000s that lost to the Patriots in 2005 and then avenged their loss in a 'cool' victory in 2018. Randall Cunningham, the biggest 'celeb'-QB in Philly-Eagles history, transferred to the Vikings late-career for a Super Bowl ambition which shocked all Philly fans. Thus was put into the 'football-machine-head' the Eagles-Vikings rivalry lore/spirit of storytelling. This generated much Eagles-Vikings matchup lore for this 2022-2023 season, inspiring many youngsters to synthesize matchups on video-game systems from home (wow). ![]() The Strike-Force 1999 'original' scarlet-print edition (Upper-Deck) of the Randall Cunningham post-Eagles career team-transfer (Viking-QB) 'magic' card of pro-football spirits, in fact, is a 'treasure' among many fans of this Vikings-Eagles lore for storytelling. It's the source of some 'cool' matchup-rivalry talk for this 2023 playoffs too (ha). ![]() EAGLES FAN: No way, I prefer the 'original' Cunningham-Topps (1987) rookie-card, simply because Randall is Philadelphia-IQ! ![]() Well, maybe the Chiefs will reach the Super Bowl, or the Bills with Josh Allen or the Cowboys with a terrifying upset, or even some Tom Brady Bucs 'miracle' for yet another (tedious) title. However, the Vikings-Eagles rivalry lore is now the 'gear' for many-a football fan/writer/video-gamer in 2023. It's what the cheerleaders of the respective teams might be calling, "the time for an 'alien' prediction for great storybooks." ![]() VIKINGS FAN: The Kirk-Cousins Vikings this year remind us why Minnesota football is 'all-American' and can down any Eagle. ![]() This would be quite a triumph for the writers who see the 'chess' of American football, and it's why an NFC Championship 'showcase' between Philadelphia-Minnesota would 'helium-soar' the magic-value of the two teams and the respective 'magic' cards of their respective celeb stars/quarterbacks, including Fran 'the fan's man' from the '70s, Randall from the '90s, and now, folks like Cousins/Foles/Ertz from the 2000s. If you like chess, you like the visual field 'look' of the potential Eagles-Vikings 'lore' machine for the 2023 playoffs. EAGLES FAN: Tom Brady is the past...Eagles are timeless. VIKINGS FAN: Tom Brady is all-time...but Vikings will always keep that 'eternal' torch for the ever-churning search for futures. ME: There's a 'chess-stalemate' between Eagles-Vikings competitiveness...simply because Americans despise 'avarice' for IQ! ![]() My name's Amlan Satan, and I've always been an avid-fan of all Pennsylvania teams of multiple sports as a TV-nut --- Pirates, Penguins, Phillies, Eagles. I consider myself a 'pirate' at heart and wonder what my chess-wager(s) will be for this season's Eagles-Vikings NFC Championship 'rivalry' matchup possibilities may reveal...for any 'pirate'-fan of American pro-football spirit(s) on social-media (e.g., Facebook-chess). ![]() WIFE: Forget it; there's only a 55%-probability the Eagles-Vikings match-up for the Championship because of Strike-Force. ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2023 Abishai100 |
