Medusa, the underworld deity-alien of snake-hypnosis, planned her overground urban campaign for hellmouths in the post-9/11 era but would be challenged by a vigilante NYPD policewoman named Ariana, a real modern Centurion of great daring and beauty and would defy Medusa's 'deeds' of capitalism chess (hmm).

ARIANA: I'm the great defender-cop of this dark city, Medusa, and you can't corrupt the diamond-market with your arrows.

Ariana, an Ivy-grad (Dartmouth) and now tough and respected NY-cop, was determined to use her telepathy to create Big Apple securities for the diamond-exchange in the post-9/11 era of smugglers-woes and piracy terrorism finances seeping into North America from Sierra Leone and requiring social-media commentary by police-advocates of the American aristocracy (wow).

MEDUSA: I've the mind to set-up a cyber-campaign of anarchist cookbook posts with Cerulean jewelry from the Wingate, etc.

NY-MAYOR: What's this youth-comics cyber-doodle to re-resent for the Big Apple and its institutionalism, Officer Ariana?
ARIANA: As you see, Mr. Mayor, these social media depictions of Medusa (demon) and me (defender-cop) are classic-chess!

NY-MAYOR: You're creating an 'academic' playground for chess-securities ideations about diamond-ad enthusiasm, eh?
ARIANA: Excellence; Medusa's my dark-side sister, Mr. Mayor; and we'd erect a new form of Big Apple youth-operation IQ (ha).

NY-MAYOR: Now...that's both 'magical'...and cool (wow).

ARIANA: Anything for youth, Mr. Mayor (anything!).

NY-MAYOR: Thanks so much, Ariana; for your youthful social-media 'chess' imagination.

Medusa was furious Ariana reached the social-media youth-ring(s) of the Big Apple with her cyber-comics 'doodles' and art depicting the brighter-side of capitalism-treasure ads and markets for consumerism rhetoric in the post-9/11 era and now had no choice but to serve as her 'alien' dark-side complement in the diamond-matrix securities exchange(s).

ARIANA: This ad-verb Crusade to secure gem-insurance 'integrity' in the Big Apple reminds one of the pre-9/11 days of lore.

MEDUSA: Fear not, Ariana the Centurion, for I've returned to my underworld dominion where I've nested for my kitchen-chess.

ARIANA: Cool; seems we've both played our hand(s) at diamond-intrigue and cast an 'alien' exorcism for NY-hospitality.

MEDUSA: This round's yours (for now).

ARIANA: Yummy.

The Cerulean jewelry/crafts ironically cast by the 'contest' between Medusa/Ariana reminded the good citizens of New York that 9/11 wouldn't/couldn't shatter their overground daydreams about the 'quality' of street-ideology (or capitalism itself!).

MEDUSA: I'll continue to 'monitor' Big Apple news from the underworld and see if Ariana keeps this 'Cerulean' chess-promise.

ARIANA: I'm using an underdog-triumph 1990 Series-cards set (Upper Deck) to bring sportsmanship-chess cheer for NY-Ego.

MEDUSA: This world of storyboards just 'may' include the brighter-side 'treasure(s)' of wrought commerce-life Ego diagonal(s).
