A Saturday night special for American media-culture highlights what makes pro-football spirits defined, colored, human, and Martian.

"
A sports-fanfare vignette about Saturday night playoffs-art, with no direct/commercial tie to any specific team (i.e., Philadelphia/NY). Enjoy (Go Eagles!),

Saturday night in the United States came at a great special media occasion when the NFC rival teams Eagles (Philadelphia) would face the Giants (NY) in the divisional-round of the football playoffs (2023) to see who'd go-onto the conference championship to earn Super Bowl contender-honors. Now, the Eagles had soared all season long, and many thought they'd face the Vikings in the conference championship, since Minnesota was soaring too, but the Vikings were officially eliminated, and the Giants were still hungry for Eagles-defeat (wow).

Three new American TV sports commentators (Amlan/Raki/Ezzy) were set to commentate on this valued NFC-game in the United States and were ironically fans of the hit-1990s TV-sports broadcast culture drama-comedy series Sports-Night and wondered if they'd 'don' that mantle of that special broadcast-magic role of what makes sports-commentary so 'reflective' of social-media culture/platform society brilliance (or Ego).

AMLAN: Can't wait to 'affirm' why the Giants are perennial timely-heroes of the football field for TV-audiences of the West.
RAKI: True, but I don't want to 'down' Philadelphia in a season primed for greater Super Bowl fantasy-chat.
EZZY: Hey gentlemen, don't forget the Giants have seen much 'lore' already, and Eagles may simply want a 'tight' contest.
AMLAN: At least this Saturday Night Fever (contest) will remind New Yorkers why they bought Hostetler cards as teens (ha).

Amlan/Raki/Ezzy represented the new-gen populous intelligentsia of what made sports-media, commentary by citizenry/folk, and social-media 'faces' so different from the older-gen 'crowd' of more 'intellectual' and less 'street-shrewd' brain-chat on TV/radio/Internet. In fact, they really represented what was so indicative of what made that iconic/'forgotten' 1990s sports-broadcast culture series Sports-Night so symbolic of 'modern' dialogue.

AMLAN: I was in New York on separate occasions and each time noted why I'd become 'hypnotized' by its 'city' Romanticism.
RAKI: You're just a wanderer by faith, Amlan; the Eagles want to keep the flames of small-city Rocky-hopes sane, friend.
EZZY: You're both right; Giants are always New Yorker shiny; Eagles are (this season) the stand-out fire-spectacle (for all)!

Who'd win this Saturday Night Fever chess-match of Eastern United States modern media-broadcast culture lore? Amlan believed it'd be close but couldn't deliver on a defined prediction (in the end). Raki meanwhile had to choose the Eagles (Philadelphia). Ezzy sided with Raki. Amlan went home (disappointed) Saturday late-night and played chess by himself, and pondered about 'alternate' fates, despite what became a glorious/toasted evening media-commentary for himself and his two modern-world cohorts (Raki/Ezzy). So, can you tell who won (Philadelphia/NY)?

RAKI: I hear your son's in the junior-football league now, Amlan.
AMLAN: Yeah...I doubt my ex-wife is interested in that thing.
RAKI: Your divorce was harsh, no?
AMLAN: At least I'm still in the 'world' of sports, friend.
RAKI: Why don't you go for Ezzy...she likes you(!)?
AMLAN: My son's my world now (but thanks for the syrup-recommendation).

"If you think Philadelphia triumphs, make Western chicken-wings for the Super Bowl; if you think NY comes-out with a trophy, make Eastern/Chinese wings for the Super Bowl" (Amlan Satan, Cyber-Post, Pre-Game, 2023).

"Don't look back. Something might be gaining on you" (Satchel Paige).
