The Satan family are about to receive a strange gift-pet (creature!) and recount a 'stranger' encounter, for a Windy-City Xmas of dough proportion.

An Xmas-season fanfiction of Gremlins (Joe Dante), one of my favorite movies.

The Satan family, a young attractive well-to-do family living in Chicago, were prepared for a very nice Windy-City Xmas-season, and Amlan Satan, the dad/husband, had just procured a 'fantastic' Topps-Olympics baseball-sports card of an iconic athletics-legend of famed one-handed pitching and wanted to make a short-story online about consumerism life 'treasures' creating fun superstitions for the holiday-season. He was about to get a harder lesson in superstition, however, and it had nothing to do with his Olympics magic fascination.

AMLAN SATAN: I'll get my daughter Delilah a jewelry-crown piece for Facebook-photo shares (ha).

In fact, the crown-piece Amlan Satan got his daughter was quite lovely, but while she was thrilled to receive it and open/celebrate it before Xmas-Day, she insisted her dad find her something 'even' nicer than the jewelry-piece, and Amlan couldn't resist, thinking back on the amazing sports-card treasure/valuable he procured from himself that Xmas-season (hmm).

DELILAH: Daddy, I want like a 'magic-creature' for a gift to show my friend at school (now)!

Amlan's wife Ezzy insisted her husband find something 'comparable' to a magic-creature that Delilah yearned for as an Xmas-gift that Chicago holiday-season, and so, our protagonist 'hero-family-man' went out searching for this 'creature' present in the lit-up snowy Windy-City and wondered (honestly) what kind of 'simple-pet' would suffice the demand/definition.

EZZY: You find this right creature, and we'll have a romantic-time with Facebook-stuff too (ok?), darling.

DIARY: Alright; I read a news-clipping of a Chinese restaurant in Chicago owned my a 'mystic' who claims he's got the 'creature' of all creatures for an Xmas-surprise for the kids, and I wonder if it's some 'test' of spiritual enchantment the way he wrote it and all, and it'll 'complete' our Xmas-Chicago home light-show and colors too.

DELILAH: What is that creature, daddy (it's so adorable)?
AMLAN: Well, it's a Gremlin, Delilah, and I got it from a Chinese mystic in the city.

EZZY: What are the 'procedures' of care for it, darling?
AMLAN: All he said was to treat the Gremlin with ethics-prudence.

EZZY: Aha, don't feed it junk-food (right?).

DELILAH: I'm sure our new buddy Gremlin would love some marshmallows.

So, the next day, the Satans headed out with their new buddy 'Gremlin' in Delilah's hidden knapsack pocket and to the town-center with ice-skaing and marshmallows and snuck some into the Gremlin's teeth, somehow 'evading' the advice the Chinese restaurant owner/mystic offered about the ethical care for the creature for Xmas-time festivities.

AMLAN: I get a funny feeling we 'broke' a law or something today, Ezzy.

The Gremlin came home that night and multiplied into four hideous troll-like creatures, while maintaining its own original body/form! Amlan knew right away this creature was some kind of non-Earthly 'alien' with powers beyond reason and they treated it foolishly. Now they had a row of trolls singing on their snowy front-lawn, in Xmas-earmuffs no less.

EZZY: Lure the trolls to the mall water-fountain so they'll drown, Amlan.

AMLAN: That's a bright idea (ok).

That's just what happened, folks. The Satans took care of their own misdeed and evaded a horrifying Windy-City misadventure and returned the original/unharmed/unmutated 'Gremlin' to the Chinese restaurant owner/mystic and forgot the entire ordeal (altogether).
