San Francisco had become known as the iconic Western city of great populism flair and 1960s confetti and was the site of a now famous media-staged Eastern-Asian women's saree fashions/clothing show. As you know, a 'saree' is a silky women's garment of great ornament or classic look and resembles an ornate/flowery version of the Ancient Greek toga, and a fashion designer from the East (Amlan Satan) decided to create this special 'capitalist race' excellence in California style for the Xmas-consumerism season.

AMLAN SATAN: This San-Francisco endeavor for women's saree-fashions will cast me as a special 'designer' (social-media fans).

The SF-Saree 'event' in California regarding the hoisting of women's saree-fashions was nothing the West (or America!) had seen, and it made a huge post-'60s splash of what would become a resurgence in American youth-fascination with Eastern-Indian culture/mysticism/fashion/myth. Of course, to designer Amlan Satan, this was merely a pro-spirit presentation of the aesthetics of 'world' capitalism for a shared family expression of world consumerism for Xmas in SF.

AMLAN SATAN: There's a new preoccupation of modern media-femmes who adorn the 'saree' look for a showcase (world-IQ).

The 'case' of re-presenting Eastern-Indian myth/fashion (saree-fashions) for San Francisco Xmas consumerism/style was something of a 'chess-method' of culture-exchange era marketing savvy for Amlan Satan, and he thought about modern Americans' fascination with commerce/traffic oriented 'femme-cartoons' that would be 'borrowed' for street-chatter in Cali regarding the commerce-intelligence of this culture-share (hmm).

AMLAN SATAN: Cold-War chess made Boris Spassky (Russian) a celeb; saree-media casts Bollywood femmes as faeries (now).

Sure, capitalism 'theory' is all about exchange and the natural 'game' of commerce-life Ego, but would it create a new 'brand' of myth or trending in social-media chat surrounding the 'fancy' of shared expressions in liberal designs/storytelling? What was certain was that was the preoccupation/hope of designer Amlan Satan (ha).

AMLAN SATAN: I was in a noodle restaurant in SF and a saree-dressed woman sat down next to me claiming she was a ghost!

Was this ghost-encounter for now-celeb SF-designer Amlan Satan real or a hallucination wrought by capitalism-angst in the post-9/11 era? Whatever was the reality that night in the noodle-eatery in Cali, it turned Satan into a comics-writer, and he now spent hours designing special 'street-youth colored' wild and outrageous funny heroine-hero comics-tales in the SF-cyber market, renouncing his once 'famous' trophy of saree-Ego (wow).
