New England's EmojiA Story by Abishai100A vignette about a Bostonian law-man whose special 'focus' vision on street-sanity makes him a 'diplomat' of modern human pensive examination.
A Boston police 'force' vignette inspired by the city-spirit thematics from The Departed (Matt Damon). Thanks for reading!

==== The great Algerian-American policeman of Bostonian-lore, Amlan Satan, was working on a special case in the iconic city of great schools and multicultural traffic involving a serial-killer killing cops with water-guns filled with hot acid, drawing special citizenry-commentary on social-media in the post-Coronavirus era of New England. ![]() He drove a slick Boston Police vehicle and cared about getting to the station on-time, and he wished to find this 'acid-gun' copkiller whom he nicknamed Mr. Robot, convinced all he'd have to do is deflate the psycho's ego or arrogance, and he intended to be on-patrol in his vehicle early dawn and into the late-night on weekdays. He was convinced 'Mr. Robot' simply needed a good cop-stalker (like himself!). ![]() MR. ROBOT: You 'think' you got what it takes, Mr. Pig? AMLAN SATAN: Of course, I do (Mr. Robot); your acid-gesture's quite a rage in town! MR. ROBOT: I'm a 'hit' on social-media. AMLAN SATAN: We'd all know such a thing then (ha); but I think you're scared of water. MR. ROBOT: Water? AMLAN SATAN: I think you need some 'schooling' with a very hot water-gun (no?). MR. ROBOT: You can't catch me, Mr. Pig; you're a Catholic man of good norms/sanity. AMLAN SATAN: You're right about that! ![]() Two months after 'Mr. Robot' engaged Officer Satan (Amlan) of the Boston police department, he was apprehended during an 'acid' shootout in the late-night streets of a residential part of the town, and Amlan got the laurel(s) for it and afterwards posted on social-media, "Mr. Robot was a menace to chemical-warfare journals; we're fortunate to track such a post-9/11 era 'human threat' for fears of 'alien' invaders in good Boston; so thanx!" ![]() FATHER: You're grieving son. AMLAN: I'm morally depressed about being an aggressive policeman, Father. FATHER: You've come to the right (Catholic) church, officer Satan. AMLAN: Thanks, Father! FATHER: Think of the work you do as a 'medicine' for the spirit(s) of Boston-traffic. AMLAN: Thank you, Father. FATHER: Go with God (and return to us --- whenever!). AMLAN: Thank you (again), Father (thanx). ![]() Officer Satan's 'misadventures' in Boston continue/endure, and we're (truly!) fortunate to have a 'friend' on the New England law-force like him, and he's unwinding (emotionally!) now, taking time to go to church more often (to converse with his new favorite Catholic advisor/Father), and he'd begun making cyber-comics with kids-tale friendly vigilantism-'doodles' capturing the quality of traffic-examinations in Boston --- a 'human' face of simplified dough. ![]() FATHER: What do you like most about Boston, Amlan? AMLAN: The people, Father (certainly). ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2023 Abishai100 |
