Amlan Satan lived and grew to manhood in the East, and he praised his father's works with Indian culture/music despite his alcoholism problems and when he moved to the United States (Providence), he'd not forget the 'root-mind' of his culture/society origins (Asia). That's really what this cop-tale is about --- the mind/Ego.

AMLAN SATAN: I've lived in Bihar (India) until now, to get an American education (Brown) but shan't forget the city that 'fired' my senses of human-mind/Ego motives for becoming a world policeman of honor/flexibility!

When this Earth-prince moved to Providence (United States), he formed his own cyber-chess society (NewPorcellian) and flourished in the Rhode-Island police-force as a dutiful/regular street-cop and he liked the idea of using social-media to share notes/concerns about the securities in Providence/America.

PRINCE SATAN: I shan't forget the Indian roots of my currency-exchange work with Providence police-life, and this new gun sort of 'captures' my views on the quality of street-traffic controls, and I insist that my mind/Ego has been 'shaped' by the senses of origins (including my 'transcendence' of my father's alcoholism and my own nature of war-warfare).

The police chief in Rhode-Island loved this immigrant prince who graduated well from Brown (RI), and he studied psychology, which should come in handy these days dealing with vampires and wanderers which is what the Providence police have to understand. Amlan learned this well and put the past (India/father/alcoholism) behind him and embraced the street-psyche of police in Rhode-Island --- "Cops like chess like anyone else, and we care about street-psyche like anyone else, and we care about the 'uniform' quality of American Ego (like anyone else!)."

He met his future-wife in Providence, while studying in college (Brown) and appreciated her love of linguistics/psychology. Her parents, Indian, raised her to be an 'American' at heart and she'd feel concerned watching Prince Satan embrace all the 'psyche-twining' of being a Rhode Island policeman, a cop by nature, with a troubled past 'fueling' his currency-reports/views on the quality of American beauty/securities. "To be a cop here (Providence)," she'd say, "is to understand the 'frailty' of the Ego and the 'dogma' of our 'Selfie'-culture."

One of the early missions of Amlan Satan, Providence-cop, was to secure a special restaurant/eatery which was harassed by a new underground/invisible 'vampire-like cult' called the Nothings, which sought to extort from the multicultural-clientele business and establishment in a fairly hospitable tourist-area/town. Officer Satan claimed, after securing this place from the 'dark' hands of invisible fortune, "Providence is and can always feel like a 'place' of real distances."
