Cop's Thetford

A vignette about a New England smalltown 'casting' a giant reflection of all that's 'certainly' American (or universal!).

An 'examination' for American landscape intuition, inspired by the 'environment'-driven storytelling and imagination themes from the 'modern' American film Manchester by the Sea (Casey Affleck), which I hope you like!

Amlan Satan began his tour of New England (Vermont) for his Zagat's cyber-entry about sampling of maple-syrup and clam-chowder and book-writing value for travelers with a poetic touch after graduating from Dartmouth (New Hampshire). He wished to share some of his travel-log comments about Thetford (Vermont), an idyllic sparse-town in New England, with cyber-surfers for personality driven Homeland securities/amenity journals.

AMLAN SATAN: It's a great show to see if the Headless-Horseman lore has value for smalltowns like Thetford for social-media!

Vermont and towns in it like Thetford are known for good quality dairy and milk and maple-syrup and good-quality seafood ingredients and of course and therefore clam-chowder, which is what drew this prince of travel-writing for Thetford entries on what made this New England 'area' iconic enough for highwaymen-examination. It was the maple-syrup ultimately that drew Amlan Satan's writing interests, since Thetford's stock was a great symbol of North American commerce...and therefore capitalism shared on social-media for ideations on the 'dominion' of commerce-imagination 'access' even in smalltown America storyboards.

AMLAN SATAN: "When you see local ideals/value of Thetford, and the Farm Stand area of hospitality-chess, it's security-IQ!"

Perhaps Amlan Satan would generate a cool 'commerce-Homeland' exposition on how the American Homeland was a spread-out and varied 'dominion' of commerce-evocative storyboards for the traveler/poet seeking the forms that 'erected' and centralized the normal-city 'hubs' of capitalism vanities like Chicago and Boston, and Thetford surely would make Satan's hitlist for his home-audio recordings on his Aiwa-system for the 'memoirs' of what makes American travel such a 'candy-chess' examination of this capitalist race (wow).

AMLAN SATAN: "We get real-estate game-token/card names/labels of competition-imagination out of a 'haven' like Thetford."

What made Russian writers like Pasternak and Turgenev 'famous' for their landscape views of the great areas of their country was attention to detail, and arguably, what makes 'on-road' examination-presentation 'artists' like Amlan Satan, himself an Ivy-grad, such a 'writer' of the Homeland's senses of secured transit/storytelling is the 'uncanny-will' to cast a smalltown like Thetford as a 'miniaturization' of everything American --- the sense of shared/wrought adventurism in the 'tininess' of everyday life (or superstition!). That's what made Amlan Satan not just a writer...but a 'policeman' of Thetford's special 'American' vagaries.
