Satan's Egypt: Dartmouth

A smart anthropologist from New England makes an Egyptology-wager (Cairo) and may find some 'lights' of civilization-detention.

Amlan Satan, respected Egyptologist of Dartmouth (New England), was preparing for his trip to Cairo to study a special phenomenon regarding the aesthetics/design of embossed/ornamental weaponry from Ancient Egypt and was hoping to find some rationale behind this ancient culture mystery of ornamentation and modern Earth-society design shapes of fortune-driven anthropology (wow).

AMLAN SATAN (Journal): "Egyptology study for pattern-parallels between modern/ancient times makes for 'Selfie' humors."

His work with the ideas concerning intricate geometry of Egypt's ancient empire of great Pharaoh's and their head-masks and pyramids of relic-keeping and hieroglyphs of ornate labor/construction/ritual diagrams suggested to Satan there'd been a special 'alien' consciousness from that time regarding the unusual 'signature' of civilization erections, and he wondered specifically (now) about the parallels in fortune-presentations in that era to compare with modern capitalism race expressions (hmm).

SHAZIA: I'll be your personal study-guide for your Egyptian 'adventure' Dr. Satan.

AMLAN: That's excellence; what a lit-up town of (modern) splendors Cairo is, Miss Shazia!

He'd been assigned a special tour expert and personal consultant (Shazia) for his Egyptology study/examination in Cairo, and when he arrived and greeted the very nice Egyptian beauty of good credentials, he wondered if he'd been secretly developing a special 'feeling' of romance. Would she become his special 'sidekick' on this fortune-design examination/adventure? This would be 'good' for social-media in Dartmouth circle for him (and his peers/friends!).

He wondered if he should disclose his developing 'passion' for Shazia while he'd been pouring his energy into his Egyptology venture-examination concerning the 'fortune-ornamentations' of ancient weaponry from that period/civilization and posted his Selfie on social-media to communicate to his Dartmouth peers that his work in Cairo would (certainly) be a 'human' exploit for modern/ancient 'personality' commentary (ha).

SHAZIA: Note how the engravings/design of hieroglyph-record reveal ornament-IQ for 'shapes' in ritual/treasure, Dr. Satan!

AMLAN: I can see it; you're quite sharp about all this; there's some beauty in the treasure-images reflecting some 'alien' concept of fortune-transference.

SHAZIA: It's quite romantic, right?
AMLAN: Almost...alien...and yeah, quite delightful (like you!).

It was an ancient Egyptian sword which drew the most interest from Amlan/Shazia who then began to court their now-developed affection for each other in Cairo (ha). This sword, kept in a Cairo-museum, suggested to Dr. Satan of Dartmouth the lines of ornament-design in treasures and artifacts (specifically weapons) revealed a capitalist-like 'thinking' regardless of the contours/contrasts between modern 'efficiency' and that ancient-era of nearly 'alien' like definition.

SHAZIA: Take me back to America with you, my love.

AMLAN: I want to...but something gives me a 'nasty' feeling I'd be 'stealing' you from this magical place (Cairo), Shazia.

SHAZIA: I suppose I belong here...in this 'place' of mystery, Amlan (yes).

AMLAN: I won't forget anything...what we learned...together (darling).

SHAZIA: Good; I'll miss you.

AMLAN: Thanks for the sword-replica; it's an 'Egyptology' prize (for Dartmouth!).

When Dr. Amlan Satan returned to America/Dartmouth, he presented his 'handsome' findings and drew a neat parallel between ancient/modern designs of ornamentation regarding weaponry/treasures for lines of 'capitalist' consciousness and the 'ambition' choreography of civilization and what it might reveal about modern American 'empire' dreams of 'defined' sturdy fortune.

DARTMOUTH (Administration): Impressive, Satan; a treatise on aesthetics of fortune/machinery.

AMLAN: Thanks, friends; seems like my Selfie-comments for social-media will make 'toast' for our invested Cairo interest!

DARTMOUTH (Administration): Seems to us you also found a 'heroine' for your journal(s) - ha.

AMLAN: That's my secret (hmm); surely, my Selfie-comments will be read by all (thanks).

Years later, we find Dr. Satan married and settled in New England and with a son (Damian) for whom he purchased a very-fine Xmas-gift set of pro-football spirits cheerleader cards, and for which he explained to his darling-boy, "Fortune design is the 'hallmark' of all that's romantic about ambition in civilization-chess...for an 'image' of the 'human' formula of dough, my boy."
