Gotham: Faerie-Tale

Gotham: Faerie-Tale

A Story by Abishai100
"

A future Gotham vigilante contemplates the 'use' of faeries in an Earth-vision of all that's worth Utopian (figuratively).

"
A pre-vigilante image of a younger Bruce Wayne (DC Comics) exploring the more 'metaphysical' face of Earth-life/existence, inspired by Photographing Fairies (Toby Stephens).

Amlan Satan had finished up his college-studies (Dartmouth) and was convinced that his early life of childhood challenges/tribulations justified his newfound interest in new age urbanization controls for vigilance/civics management as a promising 'secret' vigilante of the city-street nights. However, what he craved (now) more than anything was some kind of 'year-one' pre-Crusade metaphysics journey/journal about the origin-point of any worthy social mission of value/destination. He decided to post his Selfie on social-media and consider the merits of absorbing citizenry-commentary about the modern age 'yearning' for miracles/magic, perhaps on Selfie-culture Facebook (etc.).

AMLAN SATAN: "I'm 'experimenting' with various vigilante-gear and will work Gotham (city) as a 'prowler' and monitor of the detection of commerce-life tremors for strengthening of capitalist-race chess, but I need a pre-Crusade 'ritual' inquiry for future-memoir during my 'masked' missions of the human formula (wow)."

Sure, New York City on 9/11 reminded many folks of the priorities tied with urban vigilance and commerce-life strengthening, following the devastation of the capitalism-symbolic World Trade Center (USA). Well, Amlan Satan had already decided his future vigilante 'career' as a flying-creature like 'prowler' and 'man-cop' named Batman would be preceded (now!) by some kind of theosophical 'journal' examination of all that's worth the human civilization 'vision' of constructed flowery (hmm).

While in New England, Prince Satan (Amlan) had wandered into the rich forest-and-brook area where he started to camp and write about the existence of 'faeries' (tiny winged humanoids) who happened to be enriching the 'intellectualism' pursuits of many folks throughout Western history, including Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Well, Amlan thought the metaphysical conception of the existence of faeries would reflect/parallel his 'future-vigilantism' chess-game with a 'cool' line about the controls in human consciousness afforded by this 'fantastic' view of nonhuman Earth-dominion mobility!

AMLAN SATAN (Journal): The faerie-coming is ancient/modern and invokes a 'game' of immortality and justified fantasy, since it reminds us why mortality can be tied to a 'paranoia' concerning 'grounded' basic instincts (or depression).

AMLAN SATAN (Journal): To connect the idea of 'faerie-existence' with modern conceptions of fantastic adventure-heroics imagery concerning Earth-governance controls/intrigue and 'tremors' too is to draw lines between amazing 'individuals' or 'beings' (from comics/cinema) of adventurism ('avatars') and immortals/gods signifying an 'eternal' fear of basic social dictatorships (ha).

As Prince Satan of future Gotham-headlines concerning the capitalist detective 'Batman' wrote journal examinations of the quality of metaphysics conceptions in the modern age of urbanization, he then realized he was seeing real faeries in the New England forest during this camping experience on Earth (wow)! In fact, he thought he was witnessing the crossing of tiny winged humanoid angel-like earth-lands/water-brook creatures who reminded him of the 'hypothesis' that a vision/dream of non-human life was somehow...intangibly...educational.

Years later, we find Batman (Amlan Satan) tackling an 'alien-invasion' like eco-terrorism plot by the villainous Euro-criminal Ra's al Ghul in now-challenging Gotham (city) and remembering his forest-examination of those 'fantastic' faeries written about by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle himself while playing music on his antique/piano...this is a 'different' tale (altogether).

“You don't get heaven or hell. Do you know the only reward you get for being Batman? You get to be Batman” (Neil Gaiman).
