Will night-vigilance offer a 'remedy' for the prevalence of post-9/11 era Windy-City 'trouble' concerning an 'elegant' damsel?

In the rainy streets of the Windy-City of Chicago (USA), the deadly Night-Slasher stalked the environment, creating an unnatural fear of stalkers and bloody murder and requiring ex-cop/vigilante 'Shadow' to offer the streets a fresh sense of social control/vigilance in this post-9/11 era of US-city 'tremors' likened to the age of the Los Angeles Race Riots of the late 20th-Century.

The damsel in the formula here is Esmerelda, an Algerian-American who moved to the United States to study hospitality-management at U-Chicago and become a US-citizen and hopeful contributor to commerce-life in the challenged Windy-City of the proverbial Bulls-Bears market(s).

NIGHT-SLASHER: "Esmerelda's mine...and I'm her Quasimodo, and Shadow can't stop this social media train of Hell/popcorn."

SHADOW (real-name: Amlan Satan): This guy (Night-Slasher) puts goosebumps into our examination of Chicago's fair face; I assure the readers of the Post/Herald/Times/Chronicle that there's no 'force' from Hell that simply erases the human race image of wrought social solidarity/havens!

Shadow's a cool cop, no doubt whatsoever! He'd been a forced-retirement man from the Chicago law-offices after a controversial case involving the pursuit of a taxi-driver suspected of ties to an anti-American terrorist group from the Middle East just one year ago (to this date!). Now, he's to deal with the Night-Slasher 'issue' involving homegrown terrorism reminiscent of the 'shock-period of the reign of the Unabomber in this post-9/11 era of great social-media citizenry-commentary surrounding everyday life 'threats' by 'alien' personality-distances.

NIGHT-SLASHER: You're daring me to a cyber-chess 'showdown' claiming you're the 'Shadow' (vigilante) himself?
AMLAN SATAN (Shadow): You're unsure it's me, and I can't be sure you're the Night-Slasher, pal!

NIGHT-SLASHER: Seems we've a 'cool' cyber-audience/arena for this 'examination' of America (ha).

SHADOW: There's a 'funny' peace to a Peanuts-themed chess for American deeds.

NIGHT-SLASHER: Damn.

ESMERELDA: I wanted to thank you for your gallant ingenuity, with this quiche Sunday supper, Shadow.

SHADOW (Amlan Satan): You're as gracious as the Night-Slasher was evil, Esmerelda!

ESMERELDA: How'd you carry-on in this life of social night-vision, Shadow?
SHADOW: There's always 'good-quiche' behind the cabinets/panels of American darkness (ha).

INTERVIEW: So, Miss Esmerelda 'treated' you to a Bulls game following the valiant Night-Slasher apprehension, eh, Shadow?
SHADOW: Excellence; Chicago's feeling a certain social-media courage once again, good fellow.

INTERVIEW: What's so special about this Windy-City (for all of us!), Shadow?
SHADOW: It's gotta be...the city's night drive (wow).
