Amlan Satan was at his father's house in Jersey and was reading his edition of Ellison's work with the darkened psyche of a living political economics reality in modern civilization when he realized he'd emotionally blocked out his lifelong emotional struggle with his alcoholic father (Emit).

AMLAN: I'd like you to consider some lighter drink mixtures, more spiritual.

EMIT: What, like a Pina Colada Friday's Eve in my Jersey-home with you?

AMLAN: Why not...we don't live in a cave, Emit?

EMIT: Alright.

Emit didn't know his son (Amlan) was a cyber-hacker working with Interpol-relation to subvert modern gem-smugglers net-communiques designed to corrupt the global diamond-market tied to blood-diamond examination. Amlan, meanwhile, wondered if all these 'chess' ideations in society intrigue fueled his 'denial' of domestic woes and why he bothered to network on social-media to find friends and build a non-dangerous life in America (wow).

AMLAN SATAN: Swapping gems for glass for insurance revelation darkens personality events (social-media).

All this play with smugglers/Internet had allowed Amlan Satan to forget about the 'troubles' at home, and he decided to invite his girlfriend, a local schoolteacher/artist, to bring-over her children's doodles of comics and games/exercises to show Emit and chat about what drew her to Amlan Satan and why they'd consider marriage (now).

EMIT: I feel like a 'game-show' host (here)!

Sure, the modern world required 'serious' intelligence for commerce-grid securities/intelligence, but Amlan Satan now wanted to forge a Homeland securities 'vision' through a 'domestic' intelligence chess-game involving some emotional bond idea between Emit and his girlfriend/fiancee. Isn't America all about the 'human' art (after all)?

EMIT: I like this one --- of a superheroine, surrounded by glow-fire embers.

AMLAN'S GIRLFRIEND: Yeah...Amlan likes this one too; a young student made it (a girl!) of Firestar (Marvel Comics) --- 'personality' in the Ego!

EMIT: Right; right; I can see why Amlan likes you...charming teacher.

AMLAN: You guys are really making a 'splash' with this art-event (ha).

Emit decided to provide his own little 'children's doodle' for Amlan's girlfriend, the schoolteacher, and made a fun Santa-vigilante costumed 'hero-avatar' alongside his zooming faerie-sidekick 'angel' (Belle), and Amlan knew his girlfriend was very impressed and would take the doodle/drawing to school for her lessons (hmm).

Amlan married his girlfriend, his old Jersey-high sweetheart, and they'd learn to 'deal' with his emotionally 'challenged' father/in-law and negotiate how Amlan worked with his alcoholism (wow). Amlan had a son with his wife (Yale) and showcased some modern American 'diadems' and images of the human defense of life's special 'democratic' orientation (storytelling).
