Benefactor/Zur: Space Government

Benefactor/Zur: Space Government

A Story by Abishai100
"

A vision of post-Earth life-colony management on the moon and the drama/romance/adventure ensuing from 'alien' distance.

"
A 'cool' adaptation of some of the space-fighter themes from The Last Starfighter (Nick Castle) and Battlestar Galactica (Glen Larson).

The great Benefactor (Amlan Satan) prepared to administer his special new vision of a youth-education chess-society called NewPorcellian on the inter-species moon colony erected some years ago, following the devastating WWIII on Earth which would see only the survivors flee to the lunar body for an eternal 'diplomatic' and prudence-minded life-colony which would greet aliens from around the universe and share with them the memories of their old world (Earth). The Benefactor had hoped this chess-initiative would create a 'universal' agenda for education-driven competition-activity choreography, but many of the citizens of the moon-colony felt this was too 'erudite' and wondered about the Benefactor's pseudo-dictatorship form of governance as they nevertheless toasted all the excellence of the life-station, which was a culmination of many years of science...and science-fiction storyboards!

BENEFACTOR: The NewPorcellian will offer Romanticism/Empiricism in-sync and remind us of social-media citizenship-choreography for world-nets and activity in the old world (Earth).

The Benefactor (Amlan Satan) despite his form of questioned governance boasted much flowery and design regarding ultra-modern machinery and space-vehicles/ships for this post-Earth life-colony, which is why many of the human survivors of WWIII considered this supreme ruler of shrewd chess-like intuition a 'deserved' ruler of their new existence, and his ships left nothing to be desired by engineers/artists (wow).

GIRLFRIEND (Rie): Seems you'll get your vision going along without hitches.
BENEFACTOR: Someday...perhaps you'll become my queen of this government.
GIRLFRIEND: Honestly, Satan; you're power-shrewd...and wise...but you're a calculator...I need a man of more...adventurism (truly).
BENEFACTOR: Who's this rival of mine (then) and if he surfaces...and disappoints you...I'll remain your 'monarch' courtship proposal writer (ok?).
GIRLFRIEND: That's a good deal, Satan (cool).
BENEFACTOR: You've always had that 'touch' to inspire in me memories of old-Earth sci-fi romance tales (ha)...I'll wait for you (for whenever).
GIRLFRIEND: Sounds like a 'good' blueprint (then), Satan (thank you).

This rival did indeed appear in the form a quite radical/daring space-dreamer from another species called the Argons and his name was Zur and he hypnotized the Benefactor's would-be-wife/girlfriend (Rie) with his 'unorthodox' senses of life-civilization constructions built around 'concept' of adventurism and exploration/speculations.

ZUR: Leave that throne-man on your moon-base and join me in a Crusade.
RIE: I think at the least we must stay together in meetings/communique!
ZUR: Well, for now, I'm to cast my legion-fighters to challenge Satan.
RIE: Alright; I'll pray for you (in this micro-mission for presidio).
ZUR: Excellent!
RIE: I hope you win (my love).
ZUR: Excellent!

Zur didn't win. The Benefactor (Amlan Satan) marshaled the sufficient force/energy from his army on the moon-colony in his newly designed/engineered space-fighter ships which stood as a wall against Zur's Argon laser-fighters/radicals. The quest was to generate sufficient 'debate' regarding the Benefactor's 'supreme' sovereign rule on the lunar life-colony, and Zur did (ironically) achieve this --- a sort of 'accidental' democratic conversationalism which the Benefactor dared not 'dilute' or silence for the sake of science-fiction 'storytelling' reminiscent of the more gloriously democratic periods of Earth-civilization ages (hmm).

BENEFACTOR: "With Zur's main war-satellite station destroyed, my sovereign-rule remains the dominant status-quo/paradigm, so let's proceed to record this as simply history for the education (for the youth/future!)."

The Benefactor (Amlan Satan) guessed shrewdly that his darling Rie (girlfriend) had nevertheless fallen for Zur, the radical daredevil of the space-world, and though he remained her 'loyal' courtship proposal writer, he knew that she'd become the 'true-wife' of another space-dreamer, and meanwhile the Benefactor remained a constantly space-flight training engineer and war-fielding commander (wow). That's what old-Earth once hoisted --- net-images of a 'Selfie' variant of personality-driven socialized dramatism.

BENEFACTOR: I cased this old-Earth 'souvenir' of athletics-trophies, a rainbow-football card...for our future son perhaps, Rie.
RIE: Well...it's quite something; I still feel unsure about our marriage-prospect, Satan.
BENEFACTOR: I understand (really); consider this proposal word a 'space promise' of shared time/distance.
RIE: Alright (I think!).

Was this vision of post-Earth life and storytelling on the moon a sign of an 'eternal' definition? To the Benefactor, the answer would most likely remain positive.
