Cat's Earth

Edison is a roaming New England 'stray' (cat) who stumbles upon 3 very 'special' Earth-adventures of superstition and illuminates a 'special' deed.

Edison was an affable and precocious stray cat who ran away from an abusive human home and fled into the streets/towns of a certain New England area where he'd embark on three different misadventures, each requiring the sort of vision/magic reflective of a modern social-media 'folk photojournalism' revealing a special 'mystery' or wonder about Earth's special lights...and darkness (wow).

The first misadventure of Edison with the magical 'cat's eye' of Earth involved a stranger with affable demeanor living in the Boston area, a prince of sorts named Amlan Satan who loved collecting baseball-cards but developed such an affinity and obsession for the hobby that it complemented a certain/dangerous smoker's addiction/cough, forcing him to seek counsel on social-media and elsewhere.

AMLAN SATAN (Journal): "After joining a very unusual Bostonian smokers-quitting 'society' on social-media, with weekly gatherings at which I'd meet very unusual 'victims' of this lifestyle Earth-plague, I began to wonder if the society had orchestrated very unusual 'tactics' to literally 'force' addicts to seek methods of complete disattachment from behavioral addiction."

Edison hid in Amlan Satan's house/backyard and noticed that when he'd return from his weekly gatherings of his new New England smokers-quitters 'assistance' society, he'd be tracked/stalked by a very evil-looking stranger in a mask who wished to procure 'special' iPhone-photos of Amlan Satan 'cheating' on his society-prescriptive group contract lifestyle-rules requiring him to simply not smoke. Edison the cat with the 'Earth-eye' was shocked to discover that this masked stranger was 'hired' by the social-media 'society/club' to frighten the Hell out of Satan (Amlan!) if he dared to smoke a cigarette.

In the second misadventure of Edison's special 'cat's eye' for Earth superstitions, we find our cat leaving behind the dark experience of the tragic addict Amlan Satan and encountering an 'equally' tragic half-heroic man named Isaac who'd been a tennis-pro and tennis-club coach and also something of a 'money-seeking daredevil' and rascal. In fact, Isaac was now dating a young socialite (Ezzy) and planned to run away with her with her husband's diamonds and flee in an adulterous 'flight plan' to Switzerland (hmm).

ISAAC: If I can make this 'game-of-death' maneuver against Ezzy's evil husband, surely some kind of blood-diamond insurance gargoyle in New England, we'll retire to Zurich where we'd invest in the global exchange (Euro-nets) and find peers/friends on social-media with a special capitalist race optimism regarding 'pure' personality rescue (ha).

Edison decided to track/follow Isaac the half-hero and went to a Boston apartment owned by the dark diamond-baron Ion who'd been married to Ezzy for 2 years and was literally suffocating her with his smoky underground affairs/conspiracies. However, when Edison spied on Ion/Isaac 'negotiating' to secure a marriage-consensual 'departure' for Ezzy to Europe, the cat with the Earth-eye knew (wisely) that Baron Ion had always 'prepared' for this circumstance and was going to 'dare' Isaac to be more than just a 'negotiator' conversationalist to allow Ezzy to depart from his New England 'vision' of capitalist experiment.

ISAAC: You inconceivable scoundrel; you're daring me to walk on your high-rise skyscraper-apartment ledge one full circle without falling to 'win' Ezzy's hand/securities?
ION: What's the damage, tennis-hero man of romance (ha); isn't all that's required is a special 'cartoon' like wit/flexibility?
ISAAC: If I make this full-exercise, baron, I'm undoubtedly taking Ezzy to Switzerland as this capitalism trophy-wife, you scoundrel.
ION: How noble, Isaac; all's you need do (now) is perform this 'exercise' to complete the 'cartoon' legend/map (wow).
ISAAC: I can't fail...even if pigeons peck at my feet, Ion.
ION: Best of fortune!

Succeed Isaac did, and when he made the full circuit on that high-rise ledge for the honor of his lady, he discovered his own inner-heroics and then turned-the-table and forced Baron Ion (by stealing his revolver!) to perform the same 'spirit-exercise' and forced an 'insurance' confession.

Then, Edison, our protagonist hero-cat with the Earth-eye of magic/superstition arrived at his final-destination, a nice/quaint suburban residential townhome in South Jersey (Voorhees, USA) where an artist-writer prepared to sell his abode and move to another place (altogether) because of a strange 'haunted feeling' that his home was 'inhabited' by the ugly-presence of a netherworld troll named Dartmouth.

The townhouse artist-writer owner preparing to move out of his South Jersey home, Ajay Shaw, learned of the presence of this Dartmouth-troll and failed to find 'securities' in the guardian-angel doll he'd otherwise hang on his bedpost at night. Edison, the cat of now double-adventure learned wisdom, was eyeing this poor-man of Earth and wondered if his paranoia about Dartmouth/creatures was somehow...real. Edison wondered if Mr. Shaw had simply 'acquired' this fear/haunting from a social-media 'culture' over-indulgence in conversational mischief/superstition (ha).

EDISON: Goodness, me, the troll is real...it's alive and exists; it hides and lurks in Mr. Shaw's Voorhees townhouse walls and comes lurking out of holes at night to place foul smells; requiring me to 'shove' it back to the netherworld, and I shall achieve this heroic 'deed' by scurrying it away with a 'secret' form of cat's-eye vanity it will envy and frustrate it (simply) to seek dominion (elsewhere)...away from this 'superstition'-rich Earth 'dominion' of 'incomplete' darkness (ha).

Edison triumphed in this bold and angst-ridden 'challenge' task to exorcise the Dartmouth-troll from poor Mr. Shaw's Voorhees townhome, and this nevertheless didn't compel Ajay Shaw to stay in his South Jersey residence, but Edison would learn that his stray-misadventures and encounters with fortune/darkness illuminated something quite extra-ordinary about Earth-itself --- the witness-quality of purified investment(s).

"Capitalism is the astounding belief that the most wickedest of men will do the most wickedest of things for the greatest good of everyone" (John Maynard Keynes).
