Narrated retelling of a life of underground intrigue and wrought education-based capitalism inspiration for a Homeland journal.

My name's Alastair and I began reflecting on my life of James Bond work investigating blood-diamond smugglers tracks in the post-9/11 era and how I'd been drawn into capitalism-defense from my love of chess-IQ and Ivy-League excellence in competitive fencing, which today only serves to complement my social-media posts in this emerged Homeland-Selfie culture of conversationalism about Earth-traffic intelligence, but maybe I wanted to capitulate this life-tale in a story, which is what this narrative concerns (really).

I was studying cognitive science and economics at the Ivy-League and became a prominent cyber-chess society administrator as well as a competitive team-fencing star, competing at the level required to cast 'excellence' in sports-writing lore (e.g., Dartmouth-Yale). Was this premonition for a future examination of capitalism acrobatics in this Homeland of great domain-based traffic-securities?

While working as this double-life James Bond of blood-diamond examinations, I considered myself something of a suited/costumed man of the underground, doubling sometimes as a gentleman of bad-guy customs and sometimes as an infiltration street-intelligence 'rider' with a special visage/face of social-media friendly conversational culture of capitalism superstitions (ha).

INTERPOL: Blood-diamond corruption today threatens the world-gem exchange and makes 'rogue' terrorism-finance woe!

In this telling of my early-retirement life, I think of the competition acrobatics of my Ivy-days as a fencing-star, creating cool cyber-tales of the quality of modern prestige surrounding college athletics/performance. This is capitalism reflection (really). This was indeed premonition for my future-life examinations of the stealthy-infiltrations of the diamond-insurance securities threats/bodies on Earth, the good/fair Earth, where 'real' students/athletes may be invested in the 'integrity' of teamwork and ingenuity!

During my adventure(s) in Northern Ireland (United Kingdom), I met the ex-mistress of a blood-diamond baron (Ion) and discovered my own/personal superstitions regarding the dangers/darkness/daylight of capitalism-defense and the 'wrought' sense of heroics and double-life costumed/masked character which brought with it a certain 'respect' regarding the humble human 'quest' for imaged Romanticism (wow).

GIRLFRIEND: You make the best world egg-curry I've ever conceived.
ME: I know; my name's Alastair.
GIRLFRIEND: What's with the diamond bracelet looking like a comic-book treasure?
ME: Just adds to this Valentine's hoax, darling.

Of course, perhaps my currency-retirement 'plan' involves the crafting of fine stained-glass art online or the management of a social-media cyber-chess 'club' of friends I've acquired during my journey, and perhaps I'll cross paths with that lady-in-red I encountered while serving as a masked-menace of diamond-insurance religion (wow).

GIRLFRIEND: An alien-invader media themed chess-set, Alastair?
ALASTAIR: I'm changing my named to "Amlan Satan" once I retire, darling.
GIRLFRIEND: Why the alien theme?
ALASTAIR: Everyone needs matches...

"Capitalism is the astounding belief that the most wickedest of men will do the most wickedest of things for the greatest good of everyone" (John Maynard Keynes).
