Invasion: Echelon

A small residential town/island (Echelon) requires Amlan/Ezzy to create a potential 'wall' of honor against an 'alien' conspiracy/hue.

A Homeland defenses conspiracy/paranoia 'fable' inspired (loosely!) by the unusual/engaging American film The Purge (Ethan Hawke).

Amlan/Ezzy prepared their special defense of their smalltown in the Homeland, a developed area of condos and townhouses called Echelon where they got wind of a special conspiracy involving a potential 'alien invasion' but one possibly 'staged' by the government to create a special American superstition gossip concerning threats to street-traffic and residential living prompting citizenry commentary (on social media perhaps) about the 'personality' of Western-world self-defense confidence.

AMLAN: We believe this 'Invasion' stage requires the good residents of Echelon (United States) to prepare and respond with acid-guns and camera-machinery (mobile) to create a special vision of government directive commentary or one of general capitalism-race social media interests in sovereignty and liberties (hmm).

Well, this sort of 'vigilantism' for the hometown defense of Echelon (United States) certainly drew all the wile and ingenuity of Amlan/Ezzy, Dartmouth-grads who were living in the area together as a young-married couple and frequenting the local playgrounds, gyms, libraries, and the movie-theater and generally appreciating Homeland securities. Amlan/Ezzy hadn't decided if this Invasion: Echelon 'agenda' was indeed alien/Martian or a staged government 'media-stage' designed to create a national headline for Homeland defense stance/confidence, though they'd been expectedly 'vigilant' for their form of response...heroics.

EZZY: Maybe we'll make 'toast' for the trophy or 'achievement' of an Invasion-Echelon 'agenda' with a children's school trip (community-sponsored) for the new circus-arcade center at the Mall trumpeting the nature of commerce-life Ego securities/liberty!

GOVERNMENT RADIO: We're offering the residents of Echelon (America) a special food-distribution 'gift-package' for Thanksgiving, a multicultural 'toast' for the excellence in capitalism-race resilience/flowery once this agenda for threat is subsided and any potential realism behind a 'Martian' or 'foreign' movement against the Homeland is simply (if incompletely!) diluted for the journals of residential life.

Well, the invasion event came and went and it seemed there were no signs (whatsoever!) of any 'foreign' threat, and Amlan/Ezzy concluded this must've been some strange gov't-conspiracy subversion 'radio-signal emergency broadcast' like 'exercise' or 'examination' for Homeland preparedness/controls/engineering. However, late that night, on the day of the anticipated 'Invasion' of Echelon, Amlan got a hacker-email indicating that a Martian/alien wished to see if he'd be able to draw a 'cool stalemate-chess' match against him. Succeed he did, and this anonymous-alias 'Martian' reported, "Perhaps we'll send you an alien-invader chess-set toy for your community/school following the 'secret' achievement of this 'secret' cyber-exchange...between an American...and an invader."
