Arrow-Canary: Voorhees Qualified

Will the amazing hero-duo of Green Arrow and Black Canary offer Voorhees/Jersey a capitalism hourglass?

Arrow/Canary were spotting a special bandit known as the Scarecrow who'd been creating homegrown terrorism in the smalltown of Voorhees (Jersey) and hoped to catch him in the act of vandalizing a special burgers-shakes joint called Shake-Shack and sought to expose him in social-media as a provocateur of post-9/11 era fears.

They brought their special Boardwalk-Fries lunch with them to the Shake-Shack to create a social-media friendly 'crowd-stunt' involving the cheering of American consumerism, hoping to anger the Scarecrow when he walked in wearing his mask and seeing two affable-sorts making joy with American capitalism (ha).

ARROW: We'll draw interest from various folk interested in commerce-personality!

CANARY: To drown the Scarecrow-brand of cynicism, we need 'cheers' from social-media populous.

"There's been so much 20th-21st Century folk-traffic density and worry concerning the motions of clans and religions and belief-systems and even capitalist-race vanities that you can't help but think a 'dash' of anarchy/mischief is just what the Doc orders for a modern treatise on the 'beauty' of subversive thinking/music" (Scarecrow).

When Scarecrow showed up at the Shake-Shack with a handful of Monopoly bills (play-money) and demanded that everyone drop to the floor lest he spray the customers with hot acid, he got somewhat winded/angry when he saw Arrow/Canary reveling with the customers, singing with them, while sharing with them their Boardwalk-Fries.

SCARECROW: You think this Voorhees-town is yours, heroes?
ARROW/CANARY: We do what everyone likes, and what we like.

SCARECROW: I'm your father-figure.

ARROW/CANARY: You can't shoot-down the image of personality in capitalism.

SCARECROW: Wanna bet?
ARROW/CANARY: Hey...you know why you ain't getting plays on social-media?

SCARECROW: Because...I'm ugly.

ARROW/CANARY: No, no; not so simple; it's because you're funny!

As Arrow/Canary made light of Scarecrow and induced the Shake-Shack customers to riotous laughter, the furious maniac stormed out of the establishment, discovering he'd been 'outmatched' in that arena of public traffic and swore revenge (somehow). Meanwhile, Arrow/Canary plotted their own rates-of-response with a 'cool' social-media examination of chess-cookies for a message about responding to terrorists with hospitality-intelligence designed to create a folk-friendly 'smallville' imagination (ha).

ARROW: If Scarecrow surfaces, we'll create a themed face for him!
