Let me tell you the tale of my very eccentric Jersey-Super in the Princeton (USA) area named Amlan Satan, a nerdist of fortune-imagination and real-estate governance and in my former estimation some kind of quiet closet-psycho but avid-fan of social-media culture, posting his views of Lakeview (apartments) online and sharing ideas about residential securities with other nerdists in the Homeland.

My name's Ezzy, and I moved into the Lakeview apartments (complex) managed by the eccentric-super (Amlan Satan) who had this 'immaculate' collection of Pink-Panther movies/cartoons/comics and insisted that everyone in his residential property should become an 'avid-fan' of the media-franchise and form social-media friendly residence/apartment 'clubs' or cliques for Friday-night activity. I attended his Pink-Panther (Peter Sellers) screening on one Friday during which he whispered to me that he was a serial-killer in his former life.

EZZY: So, you believe in reincarnation, Satan?
AMLAN: Certainly; all the souls wandering around, they've no place to return.

EZZY: How'd you explain population increase/decrease?
AMLAN: I dunno, maybe pockets of compression/expansion like a funnel (Ha).

EZZY: And you're 'certain' you'd been a 'psycho' in your past life (eh?).

AMLAN: And I'd (perhaps) stalk a 'social-media culture photogenic' American like you (ha)!

A guy who believes in reincarnation, thinks he was a psycho in a former-life, and insists all his Lakeview/Princeton residents he manages as the Jersey-Super become social-media friendly 'avid-fans' of Pink-Panther media (I'd say) is some kind of eccentric. So, while reading my Agatha Christie novel one Saturday afternoon, it dawned on me this Jersey-Super might be the serial-killer detectives chased in this Homeland area, hiding-out as a 'normal' man of good business, managing this 'excellent' property for Americans like me (hmm).

AMLAN: I got you this Hound (Transformers) toy for Xmas.

EZZY: Why a 'military' themed gift (for me), Satan?
AMLAN: I get a feeling you're 'investigating' me (hmm).

EZZY: You want me to think you're a 'patriot' with this Hound-token.

AMLAN: Would you 'doubt' it, Ezzy?
EZZY: I guess you're pretty 'normal' (thanks for the toy/gift).

AMLAN: I'm not the serial-killer the cops pursue (news-story).

EZZY: Right (hmm).

On Valentine's Day weekend (Sunday dinner), Amlan Satan invited me into his corner of Lakeview (Princeton) and served me an incredibly wonderful and romantic alfredo-and-tiramisu meal and suggested to me that this Earth-prince, regardless of eccentricity/mystery, was simply a 'normal-guy' with character-flaws/quirks. He showed me his antique Cossack sword and told me that he'd never kill me (ha).

He then gifted me a cool Jersey-shirt and reminded me that his sense of fortune-inheritance/management in the Princeton area now reflected his newfound interest in courting gift-giving and Romanticism and that he'd teach me to play chess for a social-media club activity on the 4th of July. This guy became my boyfriend...and then he just disappeared, transferring all his property-holdings to the new Jersey-Super and leaving me with only this stranger 'pale-memory' of the gifts/mementos/memories.

AMLAN: Hello, Ezzy.

EZZY: I never thought I'd get a phone-call (from you!), Satan.

AMLAN: How you been?
EZZY: You know, keeping up appearance; miss you, sweets.

AMLAN: I'm a serial-killer now, living in Crimea (Euro).

EZZY: Very funny.

AMLAN: I'm being serious (no, just kidding).

EZZY: Still an eccentric, I see.

AMLAN: No one on this Earth ever 'truly' knows anyone else, you know?

EZZY: Alright, thanks (I think).

AMLAN: Stay cool (for me).
