Los Angeles Thief-Herald

"

Is the Western Homeland a 'haven' for chess-ideations on the securities of street-spirit hunches?

"
A fun pre-Easter LA-thief epic inspired by various media/comics.

AMLAN: We're swapping blood-diamonds with glass-animals in LA?
RAKI: Yes; Baron Goldfinger's getting an insurance-media squeeze.
AMLAN: Don't you doubt all this Homeland excess in vigilantism, bro?
RAKI: Nah; it's all for a good-cause, and we're thief-hearted (besides).
AMLAN: That's true (wow).

The two college-pals from the Ivy-League walked into the City of Angels bank where Goldfinger kept his conflict-zone gems (insured) and used acid to burn a hole into his safe-box and made the glass-swap for a media-journal message regarding insurance-Ego in the Homeland (ha).

AMLAN: They'll call us Sacco-Vanzetti, no. bro?
RAKI: Sure; but this has social-media personality 'marking' of comics.
AMLAN: I always preferred those 'Cossack-comics' (Commando) from Europe.
RAKI: The City of Angels is hospitality-chess for princes of darkness!
AMLAN: Maybe our costumes will make for Goldfinger's undoing (now).
RAKI: Anything's 'cool' with social-media examinations of good humor.
AMLAN: Hey, that's true; looking at various Halloween/LA social-media photos.
RAKI: Me too.

LOS ANGELES HERALD: This acid-maneuver managed to create (Interpol-relation) inquiry for Goldfinger's 'insurance' reports in the City of Angels and had the manager of the LA-Bank wondering if there'd been a newfound 'street-culture spirit' catering to the storytelling of modern Homeland highness (certainly).

This is the tale of two cool characters in the modern Western world of social-media personality driven commerce-life/securities commentary...and vigilantism. This had catered to a special 'electric-buzz' in Los Angeles regarding the nature of crime-and-vigilantism-lore not really seen since the days of Dillinger and Robin Hood and the high-point age of Dick Tracy comics -popularity. This made for all kinds of street-comments about Amlan/Raki on social-media, and perhaps the two 'characters' had become 'cinema-friendly' heroists (hmm).

AMLAN: You're dating Detective Sterling's daughter, Raki?
RAKI: I fell in love...can't be undone, Amlan, bro.
AMLAN: We're going to jail.
RAKI: There's still 'eerie-room' for vigilantism and Robin Hood deeds.
AMLAN: No way; I'm going to 'stalk' Sterling to ensure you don't ruin us.
RAKI: Do whatever; I'll be making fun posts about him on social-media.

ESMERELDA: Amlan shipped me this special cool-blue bicycle for Easter.
RAKI: Yeah...well, he's 'suspect' for our relationship/love, sweet.
ESMERELDA: Does he know my dad's an LA Detective?
RAKI: Yeah...and he'd been planning a special American crime-novel.
ESMERELDA: He 'doubts' daddy will endorse 'rough' crime-lore (now).
RAKI: Don't worry; just accept/appreciate the bicycle-gift.
ESMERELDA: Maybe it's a ('secret') message to you to avoid foolishness.

AMLAN (Diary): Should I endorse this love-romance with Sterling's daughter, given Raki's penchant for LA-charms/recklessness and just make a 'bright' social-media post about the courtship of modern crime-fighting 'world-agents' tying together 'strange bedfellows' into a hearty story (hmm)?

Raki took Esmerelda to the UCLA library for Valentine's Day the next year for a fun reading of Peter-Pan, having left-behind the dark crime-world of blood-diamond storyboards.

ESMERELDA: Wow, veal-parm for V-Day; quite an affair, Raki.
RAKI: I miss my bro (Amlan); this was his fave-dish.
ESMERELDA: You two were like bloody brothers.
RAKI: Yeah...well, happy Valentine's for Esmerelda.

AMLAN (Diary): I'm in Brussels now with a cool social-media club using an 'alien-invader' sci-fi media-themed chess-set/toy for a world-securities gameplay storyboard to inspire my great modern novel about the quality of capitalism-race havens.

"Doing well is the result of doing good. That's what capitalism is all about" (Ralph Waldo Emerson).
