A mourning (relatively) young man considers what his wife taught him before her premature death in this world of capitalism-race highness.

A soul-searching 'basic' vignette about life's losses prompting 'real' homework, inspired (very loosely!) by To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday (Michelle Pfeiffer).

Prince Satan moved from Algiers to Boston and studied at the Ivy-League and joined a special social-house and formed his special lifelong 'vision' of capitalism-race chess and ambition and perhaps even Romanticism tied to American Homeland architecture/lifestyle.

Everything changed for Prince Satan when he met his future-wife after graduating from college and traveled with her to Spain to enjoy/cheer the World Cup soccer event. She died of cancer 3 years into their marriage, but he'd never forget what she taught him about the value of humility/love in this modern age of great commerce-fortune intrigue...and complications.

He decided to write a great American novel about the quality of immersion into the consciousness of ambition and travel on Earth in the 21st-Century 'tempered' by examinations of life-humility or 'natural compromise' that comes with marriage or romance. He wrote it in the memory of his dear/departed wife and considered how a tale of romance tempering Western ambition would inform a 'cool' social-media view of the 'personality' behind 'high-art' journals (wow).

PRINCE SATAN: Perhaps what my wife/I lacked in our 'complete' marriage was the cherished experience of having a beloved child/offspring, since I lost her before our time was really a thing of golden storytelling, but to this day (perhaps), I wonder if I'd gift our (imagined) son/daughter a 'fantastic' Peanuts-chess set on which I'd teach him/her the 'value' of stalemate/peace/diplomacy/war in this Earth-race of great visions of humbling/complex 'social' honors or breaks.

That's what life's about in this world of capitalism-race chess and intelligence, thought Satan the Earth-prince --- examinations of humbling ambition and life-evolution oriented complexity. Would his life have been much more 'golden' had his dear/departed wife still been with him, alive to cherish/celebrate his long-life view of goals after immigrating to America and adorning the Western culture 'laurels' and 'shine' of Western psyche, such as his alma-mater social-house ties to/with great capitalism heat? This would be Prince Satan's thought(s), were he to find 'new' love or 'new' hatred.
