Will North Carolina (United States) offer a special 'height-darkness' for Halloweentime, with the masked-hand of the 'halo' Strangers?

In the nice area of North Carolina called Durham (America), a pair of masked 'strangers' prepared to create a window-peeking form of Halloween-hellmouth for a homegrown sense of eeriness in the post-9/11 era, determined to prove that no 'foreign' terrorist-blueprint would usurp a natural American-born sense of self-made horror/fright (wow).

These two Durham 'strangers' were masked/anonymous and no one knew who they were (really); and they liked to bounce across the various gas-stations of North Carolina en-route to Durham (in masks!) declaring themselves as Halloweentime 'specter' with a special post-9/11 era Homeland 'social-media friendly' message of inventive land-henna. People simply thought they were circus-artists in this time of great social-media costumery and citizenry-commentary regarding 'American' heat (ha).

When they arrived in Durham, the Strangers (masked/anonymous) decided to invade the sanctity of the living quarters of residents/students in various parts of the North Carolina city, hoping to 'catch' a sense of darkness as Halloweentime saw much studying, homecoming-weekend sports/activity/spirits, and residential/community business and traffic (hmm).

DURHAM CYBER-NEWS: Appears the two 'Strangers' in our midst have fashioned some homemade/backyard hot-acid and using it to fill their toy guns for a shooting-showcase at building windows, but is their Halloweentime message one of homegrown/land terror/terrorism or inventive 'American' hysteria?

Sports in North Carolina are legend, as many citizens of the area of the United States knew. This time around, the Strangers managed to add their own special brand of 'rascal-spice' while students/residents otherwise prepped to offer normal/festive forms of American Homeland beauty/magic. Perhaps the Strangers were sending some eerie (or dark!) message about invasion as an image for Western hatred.

CYBER-FANZINE: What an 'odd' coincidence of circumstance, as the appearance of the spectral Strangers crosses with a Durham area school-campus visit of a prominent magazine-writer whose work with student-athletics ties with capitalism-race culture/chess would create some 'street-lore' regarding the 'modern' sightings of the Headless Horseman, creating 'strangeness' in a time of social heat (wow).

Well, these eerie/inventive 'Strangers' (Durham) created much eeriness of invasion-consciousness in that North Carolina Halloween 'air' of social space, and they decided to leave a copy of that iconic Melville work about the 'odd' nature of human mental obsession...and 'futile' pursuit!

DUKE/ADMINISTRATOR: "We're cheering a special 'alien-invader' sci-fi media-themed chess-set this Halloween to help us 'transcend' this homegrown sense of Hell created by this heroism-parody message for the masked/anonymous Strangers of the United States (ha)."
