Duke of Se7en: Haddonfield ExpressionA Story by Abishai100Will a qualified smalltown officer (Jersey) defy the dark vision of a Christian-heresy 'stalker' and cast a storybook-image of a 'cool' honey?
A smalltown dark fable inspired by Se7en (David Fincher). Thanks for reading,

==== Amlan Satan had become the fantastic 'duke' of Haddonfield (NJ/USA), offering the local communities in the South Jersey area a fantastic vision of street-cop vigilance and neighborhood controls for securities and insurance-confidence in the post-9/11 era, sharing this warm capitalism-race 'feeling' with other patriotism-minded citizens of the American Homeland on social-media (hmm). ![]() In his weekend-life, Amlan Satan, a policeman of great social vision, lived alone in the iconic town of Haddonfield and used his spare-time to make vigilantism comics-doodles for youngsters online for his cyber-homeschooling project about social coordination and Homeland faerie-tales in this time of great traffic-superstition and storytelling. In fact, one of his child-like comics-doodles, of a vigilantism-pair in a hypothetical American town or city, drew the attention of a sociopathic calculating serial-killer named John Doe who wished to model some new age crimes and/or bloody-murders in the 'image' of the Christian deadly 7 sins (pride, greed, gluttony, wrath, lust, envy, and sloth). ![]() JOHN DOE: Do you doubt my chess-IQ for making this anonymous email? AMLAN SATAN: You're John Doe... the 'Christian-7 serial-killer' (I know it!). JOHN DOE: Detective, I've admired your work/rep from afar and your art(s). AMLAN SATAN: Cool, but I know it's you, Mr. Doe; I want to know your intent. JOHN DOE: My intent, detective? AMLAN SATAN: You're not my daddy, John Doe. JOHN DOE: Alright, alright; I noted your 'cool' vigilantism comics-doodle. AMLAN SATAN: My cyber-homeschooling blog (NJ/USA)? JOHN DOE: It's the post-9/11 era, and this capitalism-race is all traffic-chess. AMLAN SATAN: I'm a servant of the social good; you're a sociopathic liar. JOHN DOE: Maybe; that may be true, detective; but I'm your adversary! AMLAN SATAN: What's it? JOHN DOE: You know...I want to insert 'doubt' regarding your comics-doodle. AMLAN SATAN: Why, since there's a 'damsel' heroine in the pairing, John? JOHN DOE: That's right! AMLAN SATAN: I'm to think, "I'll meet a 'girl' (like that!) and she'll save me." JOHN DOE: That's right...and you'll 'doubt' her 'character' because of me. AMLAN SATAN: What's it...you 'think' my art(s) for social-goods is child-chess? JOHN DOE: This is a world of capitalism vanities; and Haddonfield's not immune. AMLAN SATAN: You pose a challenge, but I'll catch you...with 'home' art. ![]() Thus the nefarious serial-killer (John Doe), who'd already plagued and terrorized Americans around the East Coast with the Christian-7 sins as 'models' for imprint --- caging a corrupt policeman (DC), stalking a drug-dealing prostitute (NYC), poisoning a gluttonous restaurateur (LA), etc. Now, he sought to 'crucify' the cool/valiant Officer Amlan Satan ('detective' now) of Haddonfield/NJ with this 'capitalism-race' vanity-oriented social-media 'message' concerning the 'traffic-frailty' of commerce-life education gone frail...or unprofitable. AMLAN SATAN: Chief, I think he means to 'target' me as a victim of the Christian sin of wrath (hmm). POLICE-CHIEF: Well, there's a certain 'wrath' to capitalism-race vanities for our 'magazine-culture' of fortune-driven 'hyperbole' superstitions. ![]() Amlan tracked John Doe to a warehouse (abandoned) by a toy-store outside Haddonfield where he'd created a 'dark' Christian heresy 'lair' of incantations and bloody-crimes blueprints, modeled after the 7-sins and brought with him his Peanuts-chess set as a lure for drawing him away from his handheld weapon (a silencer-gun). AMLAN: Chess, John? JOHN DOE: You entreat me with honey-words of peace in my own lair? AMLAN: You refuse this creative challenge from a potential 'rival' of sportsmanship? JOHN DOE: You're 'enticing' me with creative-arts of social-image (Peanuts). AMLAN: Hey, you 'adored' my comics-vigilantism doodle online (no?). JOHN DOE: Alright. ![]() INTERVIEW: How'd you 'persuade' Doe to surrender/confess? AMLAN: I knew he had air-tight alibis and had to 'draw' the confession/surrender. INTERVIEW: You used a Peanuts-chess play-examination in his warehouse-lair? AMLAN: He'd been 'stalking' my vigilantism-comics doodle. INTERVIEW: He'd been 'obsessed' with social-vigilance and fortune-tales. AMLAN: I simply made him see the 'cool' pawn-sacrifice IQ of chess (Peanuts!). INTERVIEW: Aha, and John Doe surrendered his 'humility' for fortune-world 'image' of undoubted 'innocence' in commercial play! AMLAN: He became his own 'witness'...to the 'frills' of commerce-life play(s). INTERVIEW: Stranger. ![]() Amlan Satan retired from policework and became a fulltime cyber-homeschooling teacher (Haddonfield) and wrote a searing crime-psyche novel titled Engaging Vanities: American Crime(s) which earned him much literary laurels/respect in the East Coast. While visiting a Barnes & Noble bookshop and enjoying a thick/tasty cup of latte, a woman (quite beautiful) approached him (Shelbye O'Hara). SHELBYE: Maybe that 'comics-doodle' of the vigilantism-pair was of me? AMLAN: Why not, lovely lady (come here often)? SHELBYE: I visit this bookshop every Sunday (like today); never noticed you. AMLAN: I'm a cyber-world 'micro-celebrity' because of my lovely work (ha). SHELBYE: You're a 'cool' customer...you'd been 'traumatized' by John Doe. AMLAN: We all have demons/ghosts; my tale was of capitalism-race gardens. ![]() Amlan/Shelbye got married and he made her a nice/safe home in Haddonfield. He never forgot his 'examination' of life-value(s) concerning the evil John Doe, and he kept in his new home a faerie-figurine symbolizing protection/sanctity, which he explained (to his guests and Shelbye's visiting friends) that defense of the Homeland was all about a 'spotlight' on the 'kingdom' of Earth's special/magical headiness. ![]() "Doing well is the result of doing good.
