Will the American Dream (Smalltown-Amityville) generate a 'dark' U-turn for the devoted immigrant (Amlan Satan) and his 'extended' family?

Amlan Satan lived in a quaint little American town called Amityville after he and his father (Emit) moved from Algeria to the United States and settled down in the hopes that Amlan would pursue a prestigious Ivy-League education (Dartmouth). Amlan decided to devote his life to academics and excelled in high-school and prepared to enter the Ivy-League and wrote letters to his father regarding his education/progress.

While in high-school in Amityville, however, Amlan remembered alongside his father (Emit) that their smalltown American house was haunted by some kind of whispering 'specter' which inserted strange late-night messages that sounded repeatedly like a spoken elocution of the words "bloody-murder" but kept this strange haunting a secret. After finishing college and returning to Amityville, Amlan Satan decided to take up a local high-school English teaching position to live at home with his father.

AMLAN: I connect now with friends on social-media and feel happy Emit (dad) isn't home alone (Amityville) 'dealing' with that 'bloody-murder' whispering entity inside our home...perhaps this new social-media/Selfie life of casual/happy posts and networking will help us 'transcend' this Homeland expression/examination.

While in high-school, Amlan Satan had this really nifty toy transparent working-gears see-through water-rifle, which he'd sometimes fill with hot-water to spray on the sidewalk to see some smoke coming out of the concrete/pavement right outside the 'haunted' Amityville house he and his father (Emit) shared. He swore that this gun-toy exercise in the Homeland would someday 'forge' a special 'capitalism-race ambition/courage' for his future ascension to comfortable life in this New World of commerce-life Ego and network-oriented enthusiasm (wow).

AMLAN SATAN: I'm haunted by the feeling that Emit (dad) is displeased with my return to Amityville after my college years and wanted me to (honestly) seek more 'worldly' triumph in this New World following our immigration to the United States; this 'nagging-feeling' with Emit (dad) makes me wonder if somehow I've become 'haunted' (secretly!) by this subconscious 'feeling' that I'm being somehow 'shadowed' by this American capitalism-race culture of vanities-driven ambition distance(s) ideation, making me feel (honestly) 'conflicted' about choreographing the American Dream with Homeland town-school life/arts (hmm).

Amlan got married. His wife, Shelbye, moved in with him and his father (Emit) and he soon had to disclose that 'eerie' secret about their Amityville-home life in the Homeland. He told Shelbye about that strange 'ghost-whisperer' who kept muttering "bloody-murder" through the walls/attic and honestly wondered if she'd want to stay there with him/Emit. Despite this 'lingering' sense of discomfort, the Satans were a compraably happy-family, and Amlan liked sharing social-media chats on weekends, when not doing schoolteaching work(s), about how/why Shelbye offered him a new 'brand' of Western-culture spirit/lifestyle.

AMLAN: Maybe I'm no longer 'haunted' by that American Dream shadow (ha).

However, it was the Dream that would spell doom and create this 'new' Amityville-expression. For that whispering specter uttering 'bloody-murder' continuously late-night in that American house of the Satan-family (Amlan/Emit/Shelbye) took-over Amlan's brain and forced him to use his new school-house 'alien-invader' media-themed chess-set/toy to create a 'narcissistic' social-media post/mosaic about sovereignty/dominion themed imagination/storytelling for capitalism-race paranoia 'tied' with invasion/terrorism fears. The ghost also persuaded him to get a real rifle/gun and shoot Shelbye/Emit and destroy the American Dream in favor of a dark/historic 'tragedy' conception. Amlan went insane, believing that this 'inception' of darkness would 'transform' him into a 'mystery-messenger' of the Realism behind Homeland high-tension. Thus began the unfurling of Amlan Satan and the outline(s) of a rather 'alien' edition of a 'monster-sovereignty' consciousness (wow).
