Culture of Heaven(s)

"

Narrated portrait of the 'weight' and magic of culture-exchange in the American Homeland facilitating a 'constructive' view of real hindsight.

"
A world-culture exchange driven 'revelation' (or optimism) tale inspired (loosely) by World Trade Center (Nicolas Cage).

I was covering the story of a very pronounced Bengali-Indian cultural event in North America (New England) when I realized there was some pretty heavy diamond-insurance considerations for commerce-activity tied with the investors/sponsors of this great culture-showcase event open to all residents of the area where it was being hosted and featuring colorful/live Indian classical dance/music/theater/education images (hmm).

I recently won the Pulitzer for my work with the weight of treasure-insurance superstitions among today's aristocrats and capitalism-race defenders, titled Gem-Hourglass. I wanted to witness the levels of color/prestige at this North American Indian-culture event in New England and hoped to share thoughts with others on social-media invested in the traffic-imagination of American Homeland 'image' of life ornaments (ha).

So, I took my fancy 'alien-invader' sci-fi media-themed chess-set/toy with me to the Indian culture-showcase event (New England) and shared with students/attendees at the fair my ideas about American Homeland fears/concerns regarding securities in treasures/assets in this modern age of terrorism journals. One attendee asked me, "Is this alien-chess some representation of a 'territory' confidence strength-stance for a 'hubris' story (or something)?" What could I say --- exactly!

However, despite this concern that my own presentation at the Indian-event was 'typical' with my alien-chess showcase for the students/attendees, I thought about my own (lifelong) exposure to culture-exchange/showcase (mostly through world-cinema!) and remembered a rather 'cool' if 'offbeat' modern film featuring Western and Eastern thespians 'mingling' while showcasing their proud intent to don the crowns/bracelets of the examination of culture-contact humility. Surely, this should 'reveal' something about globalism-rhetoric 'defying' that darker notion that modern terrorism threatens our senses of 'pure' history (hmm).

Why do we celebrate wild and enchanting tales of encounters with the other-worldly and then cast cynical darkness in this 'real' Earth-threat to traffic-exchange and culture-contact created by the dilemma of post-9/11 era terrorism? After all, didn't we 'dream' of the image of soaring heights in works like Peter Pan (JM Barrie) that reminded us that superstition-driven teamwork was somehow 'accessible' (to all)?

So while attending this 'cool' Indian-culture showcase event (New England), I'd decided to get this rather reflective/symbolic American commerce-life market 'treasure' from a Boston sports-store, a 'cool' Von Hayes (Topps - 1986) (baseball) card to showcase to some of the kids attending the Indian-culture event and share with them the idea that modern social-media images and comments concerning the 'proud' feathers of fun-and-games would reveal a 'living' challenge to the fear that terrorism will destroy (incompletely) our human race sense of Earth's heat.

I felt like a 'Thomas Nast' of this living modern Homeland condition of culture-exchange driven traffic-intrigue at this Indian-culture exchange 'event' in New England. The question that came to my mind, while I shared this memory on social-media in Boston was, "Does it really matter if I (myself) am of Indian ethnic-background to derive the 'cool' idea that I (myself) learned something (unexpectedly) about the quality of capitalism-driven honor(s)?" No.

After the event, I (then) got myself a 'cool' authentic/crafted Ancient India chess-set, which I'd share on social-media with my new cyber-chess club (NewPorcellian) to offer a 'complementary' traffic-message, which I offered with my 'alien-invader' chess-set, "The game of Earth and the exchanges in traffic created by commerce/media may 'gift' us the beauty-magic of 'real' hell-fighters."

WIFE: Wow, your cottage-cheese curry-dish (Indian) is really unusual, darling.
ME: Thanks, babe; I found some 'real' inspiration while covering a story-worthy fair.
WIFE: Do you have photos (for me)?
ME: Excellence; never leave home (these days) without your iPhone-camera.
WIFE: Fine.

I think I'll work another novel concept, and this one will be how the haunting 'post-war' shadow-lights of WWII will offer us a 'cool' modern Homeland/culture social-media 'chess' ideation of the wrought magic/intrigue of culture-exchange in capitalism-traffic and globalism-rhetoric inspired by the 'darkness' of populations-highs. I think I'll title this 'masterpiece' Culture of Heaven(s).

"Doing well is the result of doing good. That's what capitalism is all about" (Ralph Waldo Emerson).
