A dark city of Devil's Night Homeland anarchy prompts a color-duo to offer a monument for 'pure' rain.

An urban dystopian vigilante 'faerie-tale' inspired by various modern post-Orwellian media, including the films of Alex Proyas, which I think you'll like,

AMLAN: Do you doubt all the flowery of enduring capitalism is sign for hope?
PINKY: I don't doubt it, Prince Satan, but Devil's Night of US-anarchy nears!

AMLAN: I know, sidekick; we're extracting the 'image' of fortune for salvation.

PINKY: This will be like a capitalism-cartoon worth the magazine-hyperbole.

AMLAN: Sure it will; in fact, we might 'save' the American face of rulers (ha).

Sure, the Homeland of the United States had grown much darker since 9/11, and the 2030 city was filled with darkened skies of global-warming impact and half-acid rain and prowling night 'crazies' creating their annual night of 'cathartic' anarchy...which fell on Devil's Night, the once 'normal' night or ritualized mischief that falls right before Halloween's Eve (Oct.-30), and this year was indeed ominous, for the Raven (a dark-lord of inventive Hell was serving as the 'ring-master' of all the 'colors' of Western ruin). Only Amlan Satan, the ex-cop/pseudo-vigilante/writer and his fierce-lovely teen-sidekick and computer-wiz (Pinky) was meeting the challenge of this modern 'dark-city' of Babylon-like grammar/reactions. Was there 'scope' for a 'classic' storyboard about 'natural' heroics, even in this horrible age?

RAVEN: "Devil's Night, 'twas ode for invention in reddish ghoulishness, but we've crafted the outline for a more 'sinister' eye of what will make the annual event before Halloween one that will immortalize all those 'old-era' greeting-cards of homemade youth-art into a 'signpost' for eternal hearing (for all)."

Thankfully, the Homeland boasted this 'fantastic' urban duo of Amlan/Pinky, and they were friends since Amlan was a policeman (Providence) and then retired to join Pinky, his student/sidekick, in the modern 'underground' to become a sort of 'angel-hawk' duet for Western theater in salvation-mysticism and 'cool' comics-like evangelism, wed into the streets of pseudo-vigilantism. While Satan prowled in mask and with Russian Molotov-cocktails and water-rifles filled with (hot) acid, his faerie-guide (Pinky) fed info/leaks into his helmet with her computer hacking/reading wizardry (wow).

PINKY: I love Satan (Amlan); he's the real Crow.

AMLAN: I 'dream' of finding Pinky a 'stable' cyber-homeschooling teacher now.

Pinky really was a computer-wiz, and it would be up to her wonderful skills at interception and collection of street-data and leaked info regarding Raven's blueprints for inventions in Hell during this year's 'inception-themed' Devil's Night (Oct.-30) that would separate 'cynical' new age social-media commentary from more 'bright' (and beautiful) face-imagery concerning the 'salvation' storyboards for that 'memory' of more youthful-adolescence/schoolhouse hospitality (for all).

SATAN: What do you note (now)?
PINKY: Raven's sending bicycle masks to the skyscraper for an arson-image.

SATAN: And?
PINKY: His 'riders' will paste Towering Inferno flyers all over Town-Hall.

SATAN: Wow (sounds handy!).

Raven looked like the evil version of Mr. Satan (Amlan), and indeed, when he posted himself on social-media leading up to Devil's Night, masked as a sort of 'theater-artist clown/harlequin' of mean-male stature, Pinky noted the contrast with Amlan's more 'hero-faced' costumed and sunglasses-wearing vigilante-visage would/could offer hope to the Homeland that the 'stage' of Halloween's 'noir' season just might boost-up a special 'cartoon' heroics fantasy for those invested in this modern age of great 'character world' driven capitalism-race expressions (for all).

RAVEN: I wonder if these 'angels' of America think capitalism's high (for all).

SATAN (Amlan): I know my 'image' of traffic/commerce security is 'pure' Ego.

RAVEN: Let's amass all the social-media imagery for personality for Crusade!

SATAN (Amlan): My values for capitalism-salvation makes me a Halloween-god.

Well, Devil's Night was in full-swing, and the cops were in humiliation paranoia, however Satan/Pinky countered this all with their 1-2 punch of electronic-consultation and night-riding pseudo-vigilantism which led to the disorientation and sedation of enough of Raven's ghoulish hell-eaters to 'spin' this otherwise moment of Armageddon into a 'shocking' hero-cartoon worth the retelling and reminiscent of those 'classic' hero-tales we grew up reading/loving (e.g., A Tale of Two Cities).

ESMERELDA: Do you think Satan loves me, Pinky?
PINKY: He guesses you're one of Raven's mistress-ladies of the dark, Ezzy.

ESMERELDA: I'm trying to escape (you know!).

PINKY: Well, his recent 'trophy' for Devil's Night water could move you (out)?

ESMERELDA: I wonder if I might post a Selfie-tale on social-media for Amlan.

PNKY: He's a prince...he'll 'sense' if the cyber-commentary is simply an ad.

ESMERELDA: Ha...you can't (ever) fool a 'Russian' magician, right?

SATAN: Do you think Ezzy loves me, Pinky?
PINKY: You need to snatch her away from Raven's lair before he flees America.

SATAN: I'll trade Esmerelda's 'soul' for a classic-era Olympics (baseball) treasure.

PINKY: He'll accept this 'Grifters-wager' (for Romanticism), Prince?
SATAN: Excellence; he's 'winding' out from Devil's Night highness (goodness).

Amlan/Pinky really did save-the-day in this darkened Homeland age of weird skies, and 'Ezzy' (Esmerelda) gifted the hero-pair a special stained-glass art 'piece' from the rescued museum in the once-great city where they restored that 'special' sanity of what makes Halloween a time of operating safe/welcomed masquerade and color --- a 'thing' of purified capitalism-race hollandaise (for all).
