Amlan Satan was nominated for his 'pronounced' performance as a jaded young war-veteran, sent home after a shocking leg-injury, who finds a new life/faith (Catholic) coaching street-basketball teams in an area by a town called Edison (Jersey-USA) and discovering a stranger character world of handshake encounters, perhaps reflected in the post-9/11 era Homeland (America) of social-media handshakes/shares in life-Ego.

SATAN (Journal/Cyber): "Thinking of those 'shining' gold-trophies on that shelf of Hollywood's ends and 'daydreaming' of catching one of those moonlight-gems for my home-shelf is to think that my portrayal of an Edison 'genius' is a portrait of an artist/actor who may just blend humility with post-9/11 era (American) ritual (ha)."

Well, this Earth-prince didn't grow up with 'American Dream' comforts after immigrating to the West from Algiers and had to find memory-transcendence of child-boy images of street-pocket survivalism blended into a 'New World' matrix culture of street-dreams, juice, money, arts/science, and capitalism-race hyperbole (wow). He had to climb-up from Oakland to become a recognized thespian in the Hollywood 'engine' and found that 'right' role of that Edison veteran/genius seeking to blend sportsmanship with ambition and memory and 'academic' rationalism (hmm).

OSCAR COMMITTEE: We're pleased you're so pleased, Mr. Satan, and your performance (Edison Room) hit the right tones for this year's list of honorees/nominees and hope you'll find that 'right' stairway to 'celebrity' in our Hollywood engine/rhyme!

The 'culture' of shine in capitalism-race daydreams and ambition and the luster of fortune and intelligence and wrought American pride was a sign of the progress of the West, and it was imprinted onto our modern post-9/11 era social-media culture 'friendly' presentations/image-shares of life's rather stranger form of discovered treasures/handshakes. This is what Mr. Satan thought of as Oscar-night approached, and he wondered what he'd post on social-media, alongside other capitalism-race comments/images on the cyber-road, regarding the 'superstition' of our society's poignant hyperboles.

INTERVIEW: Are you 'sad' you lost the Oscar to another minority-artist?
SATAN: Nah; as an immigrant seeking that Dream, I'm pleased a 'fellow' minority won!

INTERVIEW: Still, your 'shiny' performance in Edison Room was Realism.

SATAN: That's what art/cinema/Oscars reflect --- capitalism's romance (for all).

INTERVIEW: Excellence (good luck --- in your 'new' writing career).

Well, despite the dismaying loss on Oscar-night for Edison Room, Amlan Satan was content (now) with his newfound cyber-writing career as a civilization 'examination' short-story writer, exploring the nuances of capitalism's resilience/handshakes erecting the shapes/color of ambition and memory, and perhaps he'd become a continuing 'diplomat' of all that had become an 'American' expression --- for all.

STORY-EXCEPRT (Satan): "Arcee was a cool female robot warrior of the valiant democratic-defender Autobot team and hoped to champion the designs and lines of her city-fortress but thought deeply (now) about a rival unit of femme-fatale 'evil' robots (called Hyperions) who just maybe would challenge/defy her 'inherited' senses of wrought Cybertronian revolution (for all)!"

STORY-EXCERPT (Satan): "Was this my special dream (now) --- sharing doodle-arts with cyber-homeschooling students in Edison for a Jersey-USA 'examination' for what made college-athletics logos and designs reflective of commerce/media traffic life and 'fantasy' reflective of a Western/American hyperbole in 'pure' ritual (for all)...or was it all 'incompletely' a simplified form for socialized distances to raisins (for all)?"

Well, Satan had found his 'niche' in the system/matrix/engines of Homeland art-worlds, and despite losing on Oscar-night had found a resurrection in pure Romanticism for r as a cyber-writer; his examinations of dream-geometry casted him as a cyber-highways 'diplomat' of a special 'ring-tone' of a Western-world rhyme/honor (wow).
